This flat in a converted pub building is great place for up to four people (in our case two parents, two teenage children) to stay. It's been designed cleverly into the space and has a really nice upstairs bedroom and kitchen/living room, plus the luxury of two bathrooms.
We were there over new year so a lot of the shops were closed some of the time but Holt is a good place for wandering around and shopping at other times and the King's Head and Budgens were open! The town's Christmas lights are also quite well worth seeing. We booked at short notice and the owner was very helpful and responsive about that.
We were only there a few days and spent quite a bit of that time inside because of the time of year but we went to Horsey Gap (1hr drive) to see the seal colony and Holkham Beach (half hour drive) for a walk in the sunshine on new year's day and can recommend both of those. We did not make it to Cromer this time but that's also worth visiting as a seaside town and to buy the famous crabs.
Dear Diane & Ian
We love the apartment as it is situated in the centre of Holt and it is near to all the amenities.
The apartment is fresh clean and very comfy. The stairs are steep but we are careful and it is not that much of an issue really as the room downstairs compensates from it. It was so lovely to walk into it as it feels like home. We will definitely come and stay in it again in the future. All the best and Happy Christmas and a safe healthy 2018.
Fantastic location in the middle of the lovely town of Holt, with immediate access to an impressive parade of shops during the day, restaurants and a great pub ,The
Kings Head, in the evening.
The apartment is clean, modern, bright and very spacious whilst retaining character
with beamed ceilings, it really is a great spot with enough room for two to four people.
Parking is immediate and safe.... overall a great location and an ideal base for setting out to discover and explore Norfolk and its many attractions.
