“A delightful place to stop”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 April 2014

We happened upon this place and enjoyed the surroundings, the ecological aspirations of the proprietors and the tea and cake we had for tea. We had little time before closing, but next time will arrive earlier so that we can wander and discuss the plants etc . . .

“A Wonderful Little Gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 March 2014

Natural Surroundings is a wonderful place to visit.

Start off in the little cafe and enjoy some lovely tea and cakes that put larger places to shame on both quality and price. The staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable and nothing seems to much trouble. If its a nice day sit outside and share your lunch with the resident chickens, they love a bit of cake!

There are several areas and walks in the grounds of Natural Surroundings itself where you will see a wide array of british wildlife and plant life. Its also has links to so many further afield walks where you can go for miles in lovely Norfolk countryside. Such a lovely alternative to the usual tourist spots.

Brilliant for inquisitive youngsters and adults alike, long may it continue.

Natural Surroundings is magical. It provides an excellent way to experience the North Norfolk landscape and habitats in depth. The staff are always welcoming, friendly and amazingly well informed.

“A hidden gem”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 September 2013

We keep finding excuses to come here as it's so relaxing and full of charm. It's generally more down-to-earth than many other local attractions, welcoming locals and tourists alike.

It's perfectly placed for a cuppa at the start/end point of the 3-mile Bayfield circular walk, and perhaps for a wander around the grounds, which my daughter loves to explore and try to spot a red squirrel or a harvest mouse. It's full of little features, like the poems and sculptures dotted around the site. All-in-all, always a pleasure.
