Description: The Owl Tea Rooms is a quaint cafe and tea rooms in picturesque Holt. The entrance is a bakery but at the back is a cafe serving delicious home made meals, cakes and desserts. It was extremely reasonably priced ( £8.50 for a large slice of delicious butternut squash, onion and stilton quiche with creamy mashed potato and perfectly cooked veggies). All the food is home-made. This is a quintessential English cafe although was serving a wonderful tagine when we visited. I would highly recommend this lovely little place.

“Lovely Tearoom”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2014

Went to this tearoom when I was little and returned (weekend just gone) lovely little tea room - if there was one negative it would be the service wasn't overly quick apart from that, the tea room is lovely with a big choice of cakes and pastries. I had a cheese straw and a Norfolk apple & raspberry drink (which weirdly looked like orange!) but was what it was meant to be. Waitress was very nice and addressed us as 'ladies' and 'guys' and was quite a cheery character which is nice to see. Overall a lovely busy little tea room that is worth trying out whilst you are visiting Holt. Also very appealing from the outside too! You can't miss it's contrasting colours of Yellow & Green!

“Great food, good value”

Called at this traditional tearoom and thoroughly enjoyed the meal so called again the following day. Properly cooked, promptly served, generous portions; will return when next in the area. Recommend you take home some of the "spoilt for choice" cakes.

“A First Class Tea Room”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 June 2014

Lovely location with clean and welcoming interior. Staff friendly and polite, with very quick service. Took two trips on two separate days, and both times choice of food was varied and delicious. Also prices very reasonable especially given that it is all home-made. We loved the food so much, we bought some more from the shop at the front to take away with us.
