I have an original painting of this super little shop and was thrilled to come across it while in Cley. On entering this lovely old building (originally a forge with everything still in place inside), I was struck by the variety and quality of everything displayed, it all looked so delicious and tempting that I just wanted to buy it all.

The title says it all. With a fantastic range of food, this deli is definitely worth a visit just to sample the lovely cheeses, bread, pies, cakes....it's all delicious and extremely well stocked. We have visited North Norfolk many times and actually chose to stay in Cley this time just so we could have Picnic Fayre on our doorstep.

Love love love this deli! Everything about it just works - gorgeous setting in pretty little Cley, there is parking available, delicious foodie treats, friendly staff and reasonably priced too! We visit Norfolk a few times a year and ALWAYS stop in here both for picnic items while out and about, and also for treats to take back home with us! In fact we are visiting again next weekend, see you then!!

All of the staff were very helpful and proud of the shop. Tasting was encouraged, which was real treat as everything was so good. I would really recommend you trying the fudge - which so as really more like Scottish tablet, but YUMMY.
It was the kind of place that had an amazing choice for a picnic, for taking things home as gifts. There were a large range of local items all very good.
