We stayed here on Nov 13th for 3 nights with Woods Coach Holidays from Bognor for our stay to go to the Thursford Spectacular show. The location was very quiet but considering we had been out all day this didn't worry us too much as once we had our evening meal it was nice to relax in the lounge with the open fire or have an early night as the beds were so comfortable with a gorgeous mattress topper. The hotel is quite small but in lovely grounds overlooking the sea and the food is outstanding with lots of choice, cooked and served to perfection. The rooms are spacious with tea/coffee facilities and toiletries supplied. The only thing that we would have liked more is the staff to a bit more friendly, but that wouldn't stop us from staying there again.p

we had spent one night in Norwich and then came for one night to this hotel. we drove from Norwich to Yarmouth and then followed the coast road stopping at wells for lunch. this a fine way to see the country and coast. the hotel is well set facing the dunes and sea and is well cared for. the staff are very friendly and welcoming and the whole set of building have been extended in a sympathetic way. it is obvious that any profit made has been reinvested in the hotel. its an easy walk into hunstanton along the coastal path and access is from the hotel grounds. the restaurant is excellent and the choice is good with very good service from the staff. there is also a tavern on the grounds or you can eat in the bar if you don't want the restaurant.. my wife and I enjoyed our stay and intend to return next year and further explore the area . a good find and at the top end of best western.

Went here for a literary lunch with my wife, and the room was full with everyone sat at the same time for their lunch. The service was excellent and the food was both hot and tasty. To cater for the numbers they did and for us all to come away very satisfied is a credit to all the staff. Well done.

Just returned from a short break at this lovely hotel coupled with a visit to thursford spectacular. As part of a small coach party you are somtimes treated as slightly second rate customers but none of that at this freindly cosy and spotlessly clean hotel where we found the food to be absolutely first rate, always piping hot and always served with a smile. Our room 118 was beautifully appointed with a huge four poster bed, flat screen television a lovely bathroom complete with good range of toileteries and warm soft towels. The room was warm and cosy as were the public lounges with their roaring log fire. All in all a wonderful warm and welcoming place to spend a winter break.

We stayed for 2 nights at this warm, friendly, welcoming hotel that reminded us of how hotels used to be 30 years ago. All members of staff were focused upon ensuring a carefree stay and remarkably everyone smiled and took time to offer a friendly word even though the hotel was very busy.
Despite a late booking with only one room available our bedroom was excellent, large, clean and airy with lovely views out to sea. The public rooms were all comfortable, well furnished and presented. We enjoyed delicious steaks cooked absolutely to our requests in the hotel bar the first night, and an acceptable if unremarkable dinner in the dining room the second evening. Breakfasts were excellent with a very good choice of hot food, quickly cooked to order.
This is a well run hotel to which we intend to return.

Room Tip: Our large corner room was up 3 small flights of stairs, no issue for us but worth checking if stairs...

This is a comfortable and relaxing hotel, with views of the sea across the field. There’s a (relatively) expensive restaurant, but you can eat more cheaply in the on site pub and also in the hotel bar. We stayed for 2 nights and ate in the bar and the pub; both served excellent food with very efficient service. Breakfast in the restaurant offered a good choice; at busy times you might find service a bit slow if you’re an impatient type. We were allocated a bedroom in a separate building at the far site of the side (to be fair, the reservation form stated that the room would be in a separate building). Once inside the room, it was absolutely fine. However, it was accessed via a flight of wooden steps, which would be a problem for anyone with mobility difficulties. Moreover, had the weather been bad, it would have been a real pain to walk to and from the hotel main building in the rain, so my advice is to make sure you are allocated a room in the main building.

Cheerful and considerate staff. Spotless, well appointed room and facilities. Good food and comfortable through out, particularly if the weather turns bad. Good value, nothing especial, just very well run and reliable. Will return.
