Very pleasant friendly hotel. Staff very friendly. Beautifully situated access down to the sea. Many of the guests have been before and we would be happy to return. Good food and very clean. There is a choice of eating in the restaurant, casual bar or in the attached pub.much to see in the area.

A wonderful hotel in a super location right next to a lovely beach. The hotel staff are all great - nothing is too much trouble for them. It's the sort of place where you can de-stress from the moment you arrive. My wife and I discovered this gem of a place by chance 5 years ago and we can't stay away. No other hotel comes close.

We just had 2 nights here, and it was a great hotel.

The room and bathroom was very spacious and comfortable.

The view was fantastic as well. The staff were always helpful and staying here was really relaxing and comfortable.

After decades of wistfully glancing at this hotel when on Old Hunstanton beach, we finally booked a room here for 3 nights and loved it. It's a traditional hotel with mostly more traditional clientele which ensures it's fairly peaceful - if you want a more lively evening then The Mariner's Arms next door is a busy pub with plenty of space on the terraces overlooking the sea. Nice sized rooms with a huge and very comfortable bed (unfortunately we did not get a seaview room which would have been amazing), good bathroom. Best thing of course is the location - vistas of endless dunes, the sea, the wind farm and the lip of land across the Wash and when you hit the jackpot with a clear sky, then the sunsets are heavenly. Best thing ever? Enjoying the sunset from the small octagonal summer house at the bottom of the vast hotel grounds lawn...

I have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel and cannot praise it highly enough.
The room was a lovely size, good bathroom facilities - all immaculate. Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast / dinner and cakes were all of a high standard. There are lots of comfortable areas to sit and relax and admire the view, plenty of seating both inside and out. Thoroughly enjoyed staying here and would definitely recommend it :-)

Wow, what a find.
Found this hotel via the tourist information and wasn't disappointed, its in a fantastic location with great views of the sea and plenty of grounds. The sunsets were amazing.
Had dinner in the main restaurant in the hotel and the food and service were excellent. Breakfast the following morning was lovely.
we had a room which used to be part of the self catering apartments and is set to the side of the hotel. Rooms were nice and big, very clean and even though they backed onto the road was nice and quiet. The only draw back for me was the lack of a/c, the room was extremely hot. I might be doing an injustice to be picky about this as I stayed on probably one of the hottest nights of the year!
Would be a lovely setting in the winter

Another great stay at this traditional English hotel. Good for those who like to get away from it all and walk by the sea. Amazing sunsets. Breakfast excellent as well as our room. Other food occasionally lets it down due to inconsistent quality. Three menus rather muddled experience of choice and the formal dining room now has the same menu as the bar area. All a little pricey for the quality and presentation on offer. Eg. £14.00 for half an Spanish omelette and small salad rather steep by any standard. Did wonder what happened to the other half? Staff very friendly and attentive. Overall a hearty recommendation and we will return as have visited this hotel for many years.
