Excellent beach and great little pools, perfect for paddling/inflatable boats. Lovely promenade, something for everyone, lovely town and very dog friendly.

Hunstanton beach is often dirty, the water is also a little bit muddy it is very busy. There are better beaches within a few mile radius past old Hunstanton and towards Brancaster or Burnham.

Bit stony, and lots of kiosks for supplies very nearby. Big tides so some long walks to the sea, and in the sea to get deep enough to swim.

A great beach. Busy with the usual things you'd find at the seaside! Toilets generally clean, prices of refreshments and ice creams along the front are reasonable!

Hunstanton has been a favourite haunt of ours since we lived in Norfolk. 40 years ago. The beach is a typical East coast beach, very popular with young and old alike. Activities range from pony rides for youngsters, swimming, kite surfing, sailing, power boating, water skiing and canoeing. The red and white cliffs at Old Hunstanton are worth a long look, as they show the state of the world through the centuries. There are also sea trips to see the seals which are plentiful and great fun.
The gardens on the cliff top are beautiful and a great credit to the town. Take photographs of the sunset over The Wash (that is not a typo) and you will have pictures to treasure.
The town is proud of it's Princess Theatre which has a wide variety of shows to suit all tastes, but you have to take what is on when you visit.
In addition to the usual seaside activities of putting, pitch and put, crazy golf and the mandatory bowls, there is the famous Hunstanton Golf Club, a lovely Championship links course.
Eating places abound, from chippies, burger bars, kebabs, seafood and so on to excellent restaurants such as Chives, Steak and Sirloin, and in the middle the really good value of the Waterside PH and the Goblins Pantry - try the Goblins braised liver.
There are many other fine places to eat, too many to record here.
Sunny Hunny is a fine place to stay or use as a base to visit Norfolks wonderful sites.
