We stayed 4 nights in mid July. The hotel was on the outskirts of Old Hunstanton village and in a very peaceful and quiet situation. All the public rooms were comfortable and clean and the food was very good, especially breakfast. Apparently it was a farm way back in time and all the buildings had been converted to a hotel. As it is a grade listed building all the refurbishment was carefully monitored. The buildings were accessed via neat tidy pathways with tables and chairs dotted around away from the public areas so one could enjoy the tranquility of the grounds. The staff on the whole were friendly and helpful although I feel there are a couple of issues that should be addressed in the restaurant. Overall an enjoyable stay and will certainly use the hotel again when in the area.
The surrounding is very interesting with plenty of history and interesting buildings and many places to visit. The hotel is on a main bus route and you can get to many of the coastal towns without too much trouble.
Of course when in the area a visit to Sandringham is a must and well worth the admission fee.
