excellent place to stay. perfect position to the town and sea. staff very friendly and so is daisy, their dog. all rooms are excellent, very large and clean with all amenities. ample off road parking is provided. The breakfasts are the best you will have anywhere, and there homemade breads are to die for.

Room Tip: all rooms are excellent

Jane and Anna certainly know how to look after their guests. I was impressed with the size of the single room, no. 3, it was clean and spacious, with plenty of storage space and as a solo traveller I felt perfectly safe. As a vegetarian I am fond of Linda McCartney sausages, so it was great to fill up over 3 mornings with the Veggie full English, which also included freshly cooked mushrooms and homemade bread. I also had a reflexology treatment with Sam, which Jane kindly sorted out for me. This was amazing, I was rather tired the next day, but a nap soon sorted that out. The Bays is in a very good location, with car parking to the side and close to some good restaurants (Chives, Goblin) and perfect for the bus station for the Coastal Hopper.

Room Tip: For solo travellers no. 3 is very spacious and competitvely priced, with TV, hairdryer, iron, fridge...

We though the Bays was an incredibly lovely guest house and the owners Anna and Jane were very friendly and helpful - catering to our needs and offering flexibility. It was more like staying in an incredibly personal hotel than a guest house, the quality and attention to detail was superb. We stayed in the attic room which has amazing views and a quirky character that is not easily replicated. The atmosphere of the guest house oozed quality and relaxation - it was so quiet despite being full occupied which was an impressive feature of the layout of the guest rooms. We slept incredibly well and felt thoroughly rested.
Thanks you for a wonderful stay - we have been taking about coming back for our wedding anniversary next year!!!
Amanda & Lindsey Markwell

Room Tip: They all looked lovely - but the attic room was particularly quiet :)

Anna and Jane provide a unique and very special service. On 29th and 30th June we took over the whole house to attend our son's wedding at Holkham Hall with the reception at The Glebe School in Hunstanton. No hotel would have provided the very personal attention to detail they gave us, they certainly went `the extra mile' to meet our every need. This included a garland by the front gate, the house decorated tastefully in the wedding colours, use of their living room for the hairdressers, Jane taking photos of all the preparations, champagne for the bridesmaids the night before, rose petal decorations on the carpet for the bride and groom to return to and much more. On the morning after the wedding they provided a family wedding breakfast, as well as a perfectly delicious full english breakfast (non greasy), the table was decorated with wedding confetti, a personalised balloon, Mr and Mrs decoration etc.

We also stayed at The Bays at Easter in order to familiarise ourselves with people and places. Returning was like seeing old friends again.

Perhaps more important than this was Anna and Jane's warmth and enjoyment of the whole occasion themselves. We are extremely grateful and recommend them highly either for a special occasion like this or a seaside break.

Room Tip: Go for the King rooms, it's worth it. Everything you need for a wedding including iron, magnifyi...

Me and and my mum went here for a couple of days break, when we arrived we met Jane and she couldn't have been more welcoming, she even asked if we wanted fresh milk for our tea. When we got to the room it was beautiful, the pictures really don't do it justice. We stayed in room 4 which is a twin room. It had everything we could possibly want even a mini fridge full of chocolate and drinks :). It was spotlessly clean and we even had dressing gowns! Also we have never seen such a big toast menu! Breakfast was excellent with everything you could wish for. We loved our stay at The Bays and next time we visit we will definatley be staying here, one of the best if not the best B&BS in Hunstanton! Thank you for a lovely time :D

Amazing. Simple as that! The whole house decor, the welcome, the helpfulness, the room (I stayed in Rm 5), the bathroom (AMAZING shower!), the breakfast, the facilities, the attention to detail - I couldn't have asked for more! I also had a treatment with Sam who was just amazing and came away feeling relaxed and pampered. Will never stay anywhere else in Hunstanton - they deserve to be full every night of the year!! Within very easy reach of the beach and the town centre.

Room Tip: I stayed in Rm 5 on my own, altho it is a double. It was perfect.

I am just back from Hunstanton where I spent 2 nights at The Bay Guest House. My partner and I needed a short break for relaxing a bit and based on other reviews we picked The Bay. We loved it and had a wonderful time! Jane and Anna are very friendly and welcoming, and they put lots of attention to details; for example, in the bedroom (we stayed in the double room 5) there were a selection of snacks and drinks, sewing kit, hair dryer,... and hot water bottles! The breakfast was great; the buffet had a nice selection of cereals, fresh and dried fruit, and different types of home made preserves. Cooked breakfast included the traditional full English, or fish (kippers...), but I was quite happy simply with the free-range eggs and the home-made bread. One of the highlights of the stay was a fantastic full body massage by Sam in the cosy treatment room in the converted attic. This guest house ticked all the boxes for me (welcoming, quiet, relaxing, clean, comfortable and lovely breakfast) and I will definitely go back. PS: 'Steak and Stilton' is a nice place for dinner and it is at only 2 minutes walking from the guest house.
