This hotel has recently been refurbished and offers good value accommodation. The room was clean and spacious and we were lucky enough to have a sea view. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is plentiful and good. Although Hunstanton itself is a little tired this hotel is bright and cheerful.

On arrival it's very clear that Shellbrooke is a clean and fresh place to stay. The beach is only 2 minutes away and all the other local amenities are within walking distance. We would recommend this place to anyone of all ages!!

Fantastic modern rooms, brand new shower/en suites, 32" televisions, new beds, new carpets and some of the nicest staff I've come across! Perfect little budget holiday to the sea side!

Thanks again guys :D

The staff are very welcoming and freindly, but if you are unfortunate enough to be given a double room on the top floor you will find yourself sleeping in cramped facilities with a shower room only suitable for the more petite person totally innadequate for anyone larger than 12 stone. Did leave used towel in shower to be changed but to no avail. However the breakfast was good and the staff were very obliging when asked for somthing not on the menu. The parking is primerily on the street not in a reserved car park and the flats next door can be noisy until the early hours.

It was our pleasure to have a 3 night stay at the Shellbooke in Hunstanton. The Hotel itself was comfortable and spotless. The proprierters were really friendly and helpfull. The food was excellent all fresh and local veg. The breakfast was a superb start to the day the bacon was locally sourced and stood out for it's quality. If I had to I would alter my dates to ensure that I stayed there again.

My husband and I were celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary and as a surprise I booked a weekend away, I really wanted to stay in Brancaster but most of the B & B's wanted a minimum stay of 2 nights or were extremely expensive. After checking on Trip Advisor I came across the Shellbrooke, with the good reviews I phoned and booked a room. the room was quite small but she was fully booked and we had no intention of spending much time in the room. The bed was very comfortable and breakfast in the morning was lovely. We were very near the sea which was lovely for a bracing walk in the morning. Hunstanton is quite a tired seaside town with all the usual fish and chip shops and fairs. I would stay at this hotel again as it is a good base for the surrounding areas. I would book well in advance in order to book a sea view room.
