Up in Norfolk for a family wedding the Manor Lodge was initially chosen as it was walking distance to the church and reception, but boy did that pay off! Travelling with a 6 month old and coming from New Zealand our journey involved every conveyance imaginable and yet ended in a delightful, secluded, calm and peaceful suite in beautiful countryside with gracious and gorgeous hosts, both human and canine :) Everything was catered for including a babysitter and multiple emails to sort recompense with foreign credit cards etc
The walks in the surrounding area are superb, the short trip into Cromer and the gastro pub are well worth it and asking Katrina for local suggestions a great idea esp for Antiques and art. That said just take your walking shoes and your togs for the lovely pool oh and an appetite for breakfast!

We recently had a 2 night stay on a pre Christmas break and all expectations were exceeded by far. Katrina really knows hows how to make you feel so welcome- our room was comfortable on every level, it was a perfect get-away. To top it all, the gym, heated indoor swimming pool and spa with atmospheric lighting, along with Sauna made it fully luxurious and all finished to the highest of standards. Hidden in the rural Norfolk countryside yet close to the coast, local town and Broads with attractions in between, this is a real gem and we feel very lucky and priveliged to have stayed here. We will be returning in July and will definately recommend this wonderful accommodation to everyone!

Katrina, Alfie and Cassie made us sooo welcome - I felt as if we'd been friends all our life. The suite was beautiful with every little detail catered for. Extremely clean, welcoming, tasteful and friendly with the best breakfast.

Very dog friendly and will definitely visit again.
Thanks to Katrina and the 'family' for making us so welcome.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at Manor Lodge. Myself, 2 children (16 & 10) and grandparents. From the moment we were greeted at the door ~ Alfie the Great Dane 1st in line ~ we were made to feel so welcome. The guest rooms are finished to very high standards and every detail has been carefully planned. Bathrobes and slippers, toiletries, fresh fruit, chocolates, biscuits, tea, coffee (posh not instant !) spring water, beer and wine. . . What a welcome pack.
The pool is fantastic and free for your private use whenever you want along with the sauna and gym. Breakfast is freshly cooked to order while you sit and enjoy the lovely views from all windows. We had an evening meal that was specially planned and prepared for our individual tastes. Presentation and service is top class.
The countryside setting is quiet and relaxing and yet only a short drive to Cromer with its seaside and shops. although you may just want to stay at the Lodge and not move out like us !!
I can honestly say that we were not ready to leave Manor Lodge and cannot thank Katrina (and Alfie) enough for looking after us. Just perfect.

Although tucked away in quiet countryside, Manor Lodge is convenient for nearby North Walsham, Norfolk Broads and the coast. Made very welcome by Katrina and Kate who offer an excellent package of quality accommodation, pool, sauna and fitness room with lots of personal touches like dressing gowns, slippers, fruit bowl and chocs.
Our short break went far too quickly, and although we visit Norfolk often and thought we knew it well, Manor Lodge offers an ideal opportunity to discover this area and we hope to return soon.

We booked one night at the last minute. Our toddler was made to feel very welcome and he loved cuddling the dogs who were very well behaved. The facilities were excellent with plenty of space in the room, a pool, sauna and gym. The bathroom was well stocked with robes, towels and luxury toiletries. The homemade biscuits and chocolates were most welcome and the fridge full of soft drinks, milk and beer with wine on the mantle. Katrina and Kate were most welcoming and Katrina made a great breakfast with nothing too much trouble. A beatiful place in the Norfolk countryside. We would be happy to visit again any time. A great first experience of the Norfolk coastline. Thank you!!!

We have just returned from a lovely one night stay for our 20th wedding anniversary and what a fantastic find. Manor lodge is hidden in the Norfolk countryside. We picked the area as we haven't covered that part of the coast much and we only live an hour or so away. Very stylish accomodation boutique hotel style with your own pool, sauna and gym to indulge in. Lovely touches in your suite were the chocolates, fruit, flowers and stocked fridge. Kate was a great hostess and we loved the dogs, cassie and Alfie. Will definitely recommend and would love to go back again
