“Such a pretty cottage”
Reviewed 9 August 2016 for a stay in August 2016

Myself and my partner recently stayed at Acorn cottage. When we arrived we was greated by the owner Janet a lovely lady who had left us a fruit cake, tea, coffee and milk inside the cottage just what we needed after our long journey. The cottage was so pretty with lovely views of the gardens out of every window and French doors leading out on to a patio area. The cottage was in a very quiet location and it was such a peaceful and relaxing break for me and my partner just what we needed. We both agreed would definitely visit Acorn cottage again.

My wife and I would highly reccomend any one to stay at this cottage.
The accomerdation is second to none and the owners are of a very nice nature with nothing being too miuch bother, you are left on your own unless you require some local advice of what is happeming in the area which is given freely.
It has always been a pleasure to stay there as this is our third visit in 4 years.

a nice surprise welcome, cake and milk.
treats for our dog and very dog friendly, park nearby.
I am disabled and found the wetroom shower to be very useful, but could do with a grab rail.
very clean, comfortable and quiet.
close to town centre.

We came from Perth Australia to visit my mother who lives in the town. We could happily live in the cottage. The cottage was clean & well stocked. Lots of local information provided.Close to everything in town. The owners are friendly & helpful Janet left us fruit cake, apples, milk etc which was lovely. We enjoyed our stay & appreciated the excellent heating. We would like to stay here when we visit again.
