“Another Wonderful Meal”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

We had a wonderful meal at Marmalade's last night. The food was excellent, as was the friendly service. We've eaten at Marmalade's several times over the last few years. The food is of consistently high quality, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and it's always good value. We'll be back!

“great meal x 2”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

visited marmalades twice while having a quiet week away in sheringham - both times were good experiences and the waitresses were friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced and traditional food - we went twice as we did not fancy the look of any of the other restaurants on offer in sheringham. Don't expect a gastronomical experience. Did at times feel a bit like we were in someones house as it is only very small and there is only one toilet but would recommend overall.

“Well worth a repeat visit”
Reviewed 20 April 2014

Made most welcome at this Bistro by staff who obviously care about what they do. Food was of a high standard and main course of pork was tender and seasoned nicely. I'm less enthusiastic about the fish cakes starter, which was pleasant enough, but nothing overly special however the desserts of bread and butter pudding and the cheese board was excellent. (I think clotted cream would be a nice addition to the bread and butter pudding, but I guess that's personal preference.) we will come back.

“A special evening meal at the seaside.”
Reviewed 18 April 2014

We have been to Sheringham several times and found this restaurant last year, loved it and hence returned whilst on holiday last week. It is quite different to many other eateries in the resort as it is a proper bistro: not a pub serving meals which are most common in the , costing around £80. Maybe too much for many on a trip to the seaside, but what a welcome change.

My wife had pate and I had the mixed meats, both very tasty. My wife then had an excellent steak and I had the duck: both very nicely cooked. We followed with the local cheese board, three lovely cheeses from the same local farm.

Friendly, homely service. Cash only though so pop to the atm before arriving. We ate on Monday which was very quiet.

We will be back.
