“What a gem”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

We found the Red Hart on a night that our regular eatery was not serving food. Having tried three other outlets we came across this pub and boy were we impressed. It isn't cheap, and the food is slightly quirky, but the menu is excellent.

Give it a try!

“Not Your Typical Village Pub”
Reviewed 10 August 2014 via mobile

Plenty of charm and a friendly welcome. Very impressed with the food, it's a good pub menu with a few options that elevate it above the average.

Everything well cooked and served with a smile. Try it!

“Fantastic Family Pub”
Reviewed 8 August 2014 via mobile

This is our second lunchtime visit this week. The food is excellent 'home' cooked fare and should appeal to everyone. The Red Hart is very dog friendly. The staff are friendly and welcoming. All in all it is a great place to eat.

“Enjoyable”
Reviewed 5 August 2014

We had a very enjoyable meal here, it's a cut above pub food but not up to Gastro levels. Still the food was good and there was a lot of it and the service was very friendly and efficient.

“Saturday lunch”
Reviewed 5 August 2014 via mobile

We both ordered leek and potato soup the presentation was very good, but soup sadly lacking in any leek taste it only tasted of garlic and croutons were only cubes of fresh bread. We then both choose chicken pie which was again presented nice and nicely cooked veg and mash and was all very tasty but gravy in pie rather grey looking. The whole meal was hot and service very good.
