“Great Stay”
Reviewed 28 April 2013

Spent just the one night here on a recent visit to Norfolk but would have loved to stay more. The owners were very friendly and helpful, the place was warm and clean and the food really good. Our room was spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. It was close to the sea and town centre - a terrific location.

We stayed for 2 nights in April & we were made very welcome. Room was clean & adequate with plenty of hot water. The rooms are spotlessly clean & breakfasts are cooked to order with a wide range available & nothing is to much trouble for the friendly staff. It is ideally located for the beach & the town is a 10 minute stroll away.

My partner and I stayed here over the Easter week end. It is a lovely clean, warm and friendly place to stay.
Our room no4 was lovely, comfy bed and warm, as it was so cold outside over the Easter weekend!
The breakfast was delicious it kept us going until nearly tea time!
Walking distance into the town centre.
We would go back again once the weather is better!

My wife and I spent three nights at the Camberley in late February, and were delighted with everything about it.

The booking process was friendly and efficient. On arrival we received a very warm greeting, and were given a brief tour of the public rooms, and conducted to our lovely room.

Everyting in the Guest House is well maintained and spotlessly clean. The furniture and fittings are of a very high quality, and our bed was extremely comfortable.

Breakfasts were excellent with 'full English' on offer together with cereals, fruit, fruit juice and toast.

The Guest House is situated in a very quiet cliff top position, and is convenient for the town and surrounding area. There is ample parking, and the views are wonderful.

Our host and hostess were incredibly friendly and helpful and is without doubt the best Guest House we have stayed in for a number of years.

We have already booked for another visit later in the year!

Before my wife and I came to live in Cromer,we used to go and spend many a weekend in the Camberley. This was during the Reign of the previous owners. We felt then, that there could be nothing done to improve the experience! Having returned for a weekend earlier in 2012,we must re-think.This guest house must be one of the superior establishments in the Anglia region. We would recommend the walk over Beeston cliffs to Cromer, then get the train back! We cannot praise Camberley enough! THANKS.

This guest house has an enviable position on the cliff top to the east of the town. We saw the sun set and rise, both beautiful. Our room faced the sea, only slightly obscured by a newer block of flats. Howerver a short walk led to the cliff top where the views were spectacular.
Our room was very clean and quite spacious with a good ensuite. The whole guest house was warm, very important during our present, very cold winter. There was no noise to disturb sleep. Our one small niggle and it is a personal one, was the beds were very hard. Now I realise this suits some and not others but it is something to be aware of.
Breakfast next morning was delicious with locally sourced sausages, bacon and eggs. We were offered as much toast as we wanted. Plenty of juices, tea or coffee.
I would definitely reccommend this guest house and we will stay here again if we are in Sherringham.

We cannot fault this lovely guest house. We have stayed several times and it is perfect. The rooms are lovely, spacious, clean, bright and warm. It was a cold weekend and we had to turn the radiator off for a while as it was so warm not complaining though. The breakfast is lovely freshly cooked to order and no problem if you want anything different to the full cooked. We arrived at 10.30am and was able to have our room straight away we had telephoned and told them we would be arriving early. If the room is not ready they will let you leave car in their car park which is great. Position of house is great quiet but only couple mins from sea front. We would not stay anywhere else but here. 5 stars in our mind. Thanks again see you next winter(.ps We have our own holiday home down here which we use in summer)
