Many thanks for taking the time to post a review. It was good to see you both again and we're glad you enjoyed your stay. You're right, it was hot!...apparently the hottest July day on record, so finding a shady spot in the garden seemed a good option. We look forward to welcoming you back to Magnolia Cottage next summer and hope it will be just as sunny, but perhaps a fraction cooler!

“Delightful self contained well appointed apartment”
Reviewed 20 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

My husband and I stayed here for a last minute weekend break. Liz responded to my request promptly and accommodated an additional guest without a problem. The owners have made this apartment comfortable and fresh. It is bright and airy, the small outside area caught the sun throughout the day, and the open plan living space made evening cooking and entertaining perfect. The beds were very comfortable, the new shower excellent, and all the drift wood decoration and seaside themed accessories added to the charm of The Stables. Parking was available in the driveway, and it is a short easy downhill walk to the station, market, shops, pubs and beach of Sheringham. Highly recommended.

“Lovely seaside holiday cottage”
Reviewed 20 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

We stayed for a long weekend at the Stables holiday cottage a lovely place. Warm welcome from the owners and cake and flowers were a lovely touch. Loved the decoration of the rooms all with a seaside theme. Very close to the town shops and seafront. We enjoyed it very much, thank you.

Many thanks for your comments; we're glad you had such a good weekend. We're pleased you liked the coastal theme of the cottage, something we've enjoyed doing (tramping the beach to collect driftwood definitely keeps us out of mischief!)

“Wonderful apartment”
Reviewed 14 April 2015 for a stay in April 2015

This is a fabulous holiday apartment with everything you could need and the owners are extremely helpful and welcoming. We stayed just before Easter and my children were made up with the Easter eggs they had been left and the chicks dotted around for them to find. The attention to detail is something I have not found in other cottages. We will definately be back.

“Lovely Holiday Cottage”
Reviewed 6 January 2015 for a stay in December 2014

We were in Sheringham visiting family during the week of Christmas and had no hesitation in booking a second stay here. We previously stayed in 2013.

Kevin and Liz are lovely and welcoming. Kevin had setup the fire ready for us so we just needed to light it. There was also a Christmas tree for our presents to go under,

The cottage is well equipped and you can see so much thought has gone in to making it a really lovely place to stay. It is also spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There was everything we could ever need, including tea, coffee, sugar, milk and cake!

The location is excellent and it only takes a few minutes to walk in to town, less than 10 minutes to get to the beach. A parking space is available too.

My 19 month old was well looked after, with a huge travel cot setup ready, (we just needed to add bedding), a high chair, a huge box of duplo and books. There was also a baby bath which we did make use of a couple of times during the week to give her a quick bath in the shower room.

I would highly recommend Magnolia Cottage Stables to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Sheringham and I am sure we will be back!

“Delightful and friendly”
Reviewed 17 November 2014 for a stay in November 2014

I stayed for a weekend with my daughter and found the experience relaxing and enjoyable. The owners met us and could not have been more welcoming and friendly, the property was well presented and well equipped with very comfortable beds and the use of an open fire if needed. Would definitely go back again in the future.

“Absolute perfection”
Reviewed 17 October 2014 for a stay in September 2014

Our second stay with Liz & Kev and everything was fabulous nothing was too much trouble, so relaxing. We were greeted with a welcome pack of tea, milk and delicious cake, and fresh flowers were in our spotless apartment. We took my 80 year Mum and her friend and they were very impressed.
We felt very welcome and only needed to ask if required anything.
It's a beautiful place and if you are thinking of visiting Norfolk this is the place to stay.
We will be certainly booking again! Thanks to Liz & Kev for their hard work which are our stay perfect.
