This is my 6th visit to Mrytle House. I am always made to feel so welcome when I arrive. The rooms are delightful, always beautifully presented and nothing is too much trouble. Definitely planning on going back very soon. Thanks girls (& Steve).

We had another very enjoyable stay and we really liked the new double room, comfortable, spacious and good views. Welcomed with tea and cake, we always feel so relaxed and at home here and it's like visiting friends. The very full English breakfasts are a real treat and kept us going all day. There's always milk in the fridge for an extra cuppa and the dining room is available if you want to bring back a Takeaway. There's plenty to see and do in Sherringham and along the coast. Thanks again for a lovely stay. We'll be back.

We have had another great time here. It now feels more like visiting friends, as they are so welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. The whole place is clean, the bedroom is comfortable, and the food fantastic. This is the place to stay in Sherringham.

Thank you for such a lovely review. We thoroughly enjoyed having you to stay. Just one thing - we only offer tea and coffee with the cake and biscuits on arrival, not wine - we'd hate anyone to be misled!

We can only reaffirm what has been said before; Myrtle House is as good as it gets. Without staying in all the Sheringham B&B's, it wouldn't be fair to say it's the best; but if you find one that exceeds Myrtles standards, you'll be very lucky! Home from home with all the trimmings and run by lovely people. What more could you want??
Outstanding - thank you so much Deb, Di and 'the team'. We so enjoyed our four day stay with you both.

Me and my husband stayed here first weekend in October and had a fantastic time! The B&B is lovely and is a short walk into the centre of Sheringham.

When we arrived Diane showed us around and gave us lots of tips on places to eat and things to do. Our room was lovely and spacious with a seperate tv/lounge type area which we loved. It also had an en-suite with a great shower in it and the room was spotless.

We walked into town shortly after arriving and went the back way out of the garden and along the cliffs - amazing views and only a short walk to some nice pubs. This was our first time in sheringham and we loved it. lots to see and do and lovely places to eat. Ask Diane for recommendations she is very helpful.

When we arrived we were asked what we would like for breakfast and at what time - we loved the flexibility of this and breakfast was great. The huge full english my husband had kept him going till late in the evening! all local products too which was great!

It was my birthday while we were there and Diane and Debbie left a lovely card in our room, this was a lovely touch and very thoughtful.

I really feel that the staff here go way beyond that of any other B&B's we have stayed at before, you feel like you're staying with friends. We were gutted to have to leave after 2 nights and hope to come back soon.

I've been recommending this to friends and family since our return, if you're planning a trip to sheringham you can't go wrong with this B&B! great price, great location, great views and even better staff! what more do you want?

We will definitely be back!
Thanks Diane and Debbie for a great stay

The service we experienced here was first rate. We were given a really warm and friendly welcome and offered tea and biscuits straight away.

I stayed in a beautiful single room which had its own en-suite. Despite it being a single, the room was a good size and was light and airy. The room had nice, light-coloured wood furniture and was thoughtfully decorated with a subtle seaside theme in mind. There was a flat screen TV, tea/coffee making facilities, wine glasses, tasty biscuits, hair dryer, a single wardrobe and a full length mirror. The bed was really comfortable with nice fat pillows. Nice, fluffy towels are provided and there is a heated towel rail. Everything was immaculately clean. It was just lovely.

What sealed the deal for us was the delicious cooked breakfast. Our orders were taken the night before and we chose what time to have it. Everything was beautifully cooked and tasted amazing. They also do great coffee. Most of the food is locally sourced.

There is an info folder in each room to let residents know the services that they provide (you can borrow their ironing board etc, even toothpaste if you've forgotten yours!) but it also holds a wealth of knowledge about the local area including attractions and places to eat. There is lots of useful advice in there so it's worth a read.

The location couldn't be better. The front of the property is on a quiet street and the rear backs straight on to the coastal walk path. The Beeston bump is a stones throw away and great for pictures of the sunset over Sheringham. It is a short and pleasant walk into town (10 minutes) and there are some good pubs on the way.

There is nothing negative to say about Myrtle House. It is so well run by the small team and the best thing is that they create a homely and relaxing atmosphere that made us wish we could stay for longer. This place is a credit to the lovely town of Sheringham and I look forward to visiting again as soon as possible!
