“On the Up”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 April 2014 via mobile

Stayed here in a large group (23). Whilst the building was in process of upgrading we were well catered for and the rooms were comfortable and clean although a bit tired. Some road noise due to its proximity to the main road.
The staff treated us well and were exceptionally polite, hardworking and well-trained - a credit to the industry. They were very accommodating and always willing to assist and did so professionally with good humour. Great homely evening meals, served promptly and all hot as we pre ordered due to numbers. Struggled a little with breakfast as we all arrived at same time. Nevertheless the staff worked hard to deliver our orders without too much delay. Overall opinion good and given time it will be a good short stay or en route break. We were certainly very happy with our stay and the service.

Now being upgraded and extended, but currently a little tired.
Staff friendly and helpful. Poor Wifi until complaints had a good result.
A good location on the road to Diss. When the renovations and extensions are complete it will be an addition to the Best Western Group.

Room Tip: Avoid any upstairs rooms, and avoid road facing rooms (noisy)

Stayed here last week and was treated like a king. Did not want to get out of bed. Better than my own at home. Julie realy made my visit special.the atmosphere here is very good. Sara did a great breakfast service. All the staff work together.

Room Tip: Can not wait for the new spa and gym to open

We stayed with our 2 children over Easter and will certainly stay here again and also recommend it to other's.
The staff are excellent - friendly, polite and very professional - they go out of their way to ensure guests are looked after (all the children were given chocolate treats on Easter Day which was a very nice touch).
The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable.
The meals in the Restaurant are extremely good - we ate from both the Bar and Restaurant menu's and the meals were well presented and very tasty.

We look forward to visiting the hotel again when the expansion and refurbishment are complete - it looks like it will be very impressive with a spa and gym and 14 more hotel rooms.

Well worth a visit!

The reason for our visit to Brome Grange was for a party for two cousins celebrating their birthdays. We had a nice room in the quadrangle outside the hotel. WiFi access was rubbish could not get access with phones. Did however manage it just (after a performance) with IPad and Laptop. Breakfast was not the best I have had, in fact I have had better in bed and breakfast places we have stayed.

The hotel is currently undergoing major changes but the staff are doing there utmost to minimise the affect on customers experience. We booked through Great Little Breaks and this worked well. Our room had new furniture but little had been done to improve the bathroom. The shower was too powerful and the basin taps were old and difficult to operate. The food in the restaurant was very good and all the staff were friendly and accommodating.
