Dunwich once a major seaport lost to the sea. The museum has a model of the once trading port that silted up. Many artifacts inside.

This was a great experience, learning about the history of Dunwich unlocked a hidden gem of England's past lost to time and the cold uncaring sea. A fascinating journey from Vikings and Bishops to a sea port of the ages only to be claimed by the very sea that made the settlement prosper.
The museum is set out well and don't miss out on the upstairs area.
