“A Little Gem”
Reviewed 14 July 2014

We stayed at this wonderful guest house from 11th July 2014 to 14th July 2014 and can not praise Rob and Dee enough for their hospitality. The room was spotless, towels and bedding first class quality and the breakfast was superb. We highly recommend this little gem.

After our third visit to the Norfolk, I felt compelled to write how amazing our experience was yet again. The room is just super clean, and Rob's breakfast are just so delicious. We especially like the chipolata sausages. We loved the fresh daffodils in the room, the cute towels made into animals and the great bubble bath. Rob and Dee are both so friendly that you really feel welcome! Every time we stay in Felixstowe we satay here. They feel like family to us.

We are so pleased you enjoyed your vist here again. We hope your trip to Chatsworth House was all you expected it to be. Although your kind compliment about Rob's breakfast is very much appreciated it is in fact Dee who does the cooking, Rob does the 'front of house' bit.

We look forward to your next visit.

We have jut returned from 3 days in Felixstowe, and we found this B&B after an internet search. It's reviews were all very positive, and it seemed an ideal place for our 3 days in the area.
We immediately could see why it had been rated so highly. Never before have we stayed anywhere where the attention to detail is so extreme. Our room was beautifully appointed, and although the room was a bit small, it had everything we could have wanted, and indeed, if there was anything we wanted that had not been included, you could be sure that it would immediately appear. For instance, we, with our friends like to share a glass of wine in the evening. We like to use the guests lounge and have a quiet drink at the end of a day. As soon as the hosts realised we did this, the next day our rooms had wine glass put out for our use. Similarly, as soon as the hosts realised that 2 of our party liked decaffeinated tea and coffee, it was immediately placed in our room on the drinks tray.
Breakfasts were beautifully cooked and there was as much as you could eat. Our stay could not have been better.
Thank you for making our few days so wonderfully comfortable. It really was superb

Room Tip: Take your pick. All brilliant

Nowadays most guest houses offer a good level of comfort, service and breakfasts, but it is the extras that separate the excellent from the good. Here Rob and Dee excelled. Friendly, welcoming and interested in their guests. A flask of orange juice left in my room as I don’t drink tea or coffee. Loan of maps. Offer to dry my clothes when I got back from a day’s walking – they even knew it was going to rain! It did and I was glad of a dry coat for the evening.

The room was a good size and comfortable – there was even a view of the sea which had me getting up early both mornings to take sunrise photos. The en-suite was small but big enough not to be a problem. Breakfast was good. Location is quiet, yards from the sea and walking distance from town centre. And Felixstowe is well worth a visit – I had expected just docks not four miles of beach.

This was the fifth overnight stop in my walk down the Suffolk coast. If returning to Felixstowe I certainly won’t look any further than the Norfolk.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at the Norfolk Guest House. Rob and Dee were most welcoming - their hospitality was outstanding. Our room was lovely, ensuite, very comfortable with lovely accessories. The breakfasts were piping hot and very tasty. We would not hesitate to stay with them again..

Would highly recommend.

Room Tip: The balcony rooms are a must.
