The Lord Nelson became our local whilst on a three night stay in the area. We had been warned that it would be busy especially as it was a Bank Holiday weekend, and that was indeed the case. On the first evening, despite not being able to get a table immediately, we were soon able to grab a seat and order a meal. The staff were extremely efficient and very friendly and the Cromer crab salads of good quality. We ate lunch here the next day and dinner the same evening. Again we couldn't fault the food or service. The Lord Nelson has a great atmosphere and part of its charm is the fact that it's always buzzing. Definitely worth a visit.

We were staying in a holiday flat just around the corner so The Lord Nelson was our local, .Great selection of food from sandwiches to main meals. I would recommend the scallops which were excellent. A fine selection of Adnams beers also. Well worth a visit.

ate here bank holiday friday. was very busy as expected. guess we was lucky to get a table .I had the sea bass & my partner had lemon sole . we had pate as starters. food was good. remember this is a pub & not a restaurant. & be prepared to get barged about & locals slamming there paper on your table. but that's part of the fun. would like a session in there on the aspells next time im in town
