We went in here by accident and stayed much longer than we intended. It is absolutely full of local sailing and fishing artefacts, pictures etc. a real time warp.

Great for a wet hour or so.

This was locked when we visited, despite being advertised as open. Nothing more to say other than I have to write 50 characters to have review accepted

Drop in here for a bit of a warm up from the cold winds outside. But this is free to drop in sit & read your paper or book, but do look at the items on display which show the maritime history of Southwold. A little gem tuck away on the sea front

This is an icon as far as Southwold is concerned. Full of memorabilia of the area, old worthies pictured as monuments to a bygone era. Free admittance and worthwhile for a bit of quiet reflection on days gone by.

The Reading room is a must when visiting Southwold. It remains a haven from the busy sea front with many interesting things to read and to see. Please leave a donation when you leave as without support we will lose these wonderful parts of our heritage.
