“Simply Wonderful!”
Reviewed 28 October 2015 for a stay in October 2015

What beautifully furnished, comfortable and spacious accommodation. We were so warm and cosy, with everything we needed for our stay. There's an excellent cooker, plenty of DVDs to watch, comfy sofas and beds (with luxury linens) and a great shower, too. Not only that, but the beach and the shops are literally right on your doorstep. Parking was easy, too. Book this apartment for a most wonderful stay in Sussex, with lots to see and do locally, including long walks along the beach. We were sad to leave!

“Excellent town centre holiday base for couple in E Sussex”
Reviewed 19 October 2015 for a stay in September 2015

Accommodation excellent - everything you could need & spotlessly clean. Compact and very comfortable for 2 people with own attractive front door to street and free parking.
We had no problem with noise from seagulls or neighbours.
Ideal town centre location with beach, De La Warr pavilion, shops, restaurants, & museums all within 5 minutes walking distance.
Also ideal base for exploring the numerous delights of East Sussex.
The owners are really helpful and prompt in responding to every enquiry/request for information.

Having never been to Bexhill before I didn't know what to expect but the week we spent at Upper Ground could not have been improved. The accommodation is just wonderful, everything you could possibly need is provided, from a coffee grinder to sticking plasters under the bathroom sink, and everything in between. There's even tea bags in the cupboard!
This has to be the most attractive self catering I've ever stayed in, with beautiful furniture in the sitting/bedrooms and smart clean fittings in the kitchen and bathroom. And when you bear in mind its dog-friendly, this is so far removed from the "bronze standard" we dog owners are used to. The location is incredible, you are on the beach in under a minute and there's restaurants and shops on the doorstep - leave the car parked for a week.
Can't recommend it enough if you want lovely accommodation in a quiet beauty spot with everything you need and close by to Eastbourne, Hastings etc.
The owner is really helpful too, and still had a smile on our arrival even though we were 2 hours late!! Thanks again
