“Unexpected Gem!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 August 2013

Brentwood seemed to be a convenient place to meet to collect grandchildren. Never been to Brentwood before, so looked online, and decided to meet at Cafe A'Moore. We picked it because we wanted somewhere relatively inexpensive and easy, and we try to support independant businesses if possible.

We met up and had brunch there, and I was really pleasantly surprised.

From the outside, it looks tiny. However, there are tables outside, and plenty of tables inside. The tables weren't overcrowded either, which was good. Inside, the cafe was really clean including the most important indicator - the toilets. The real rose in the vase was a nice touch.

The choice of food was surprising. As well as traditional breakfast items, there was a good range of sandwiches, paninis, ciabattas, and meals. Decent coffee, and wide range of child-friendly drinks available, not just fizzy stuff. Plenty of cooked breakfast options too.
The quality of the food was really good, and the price was very reasonable. The staff were really lovely; it was really busy at the time we went but they were all very cheerful and helpful.

If we meet up in Brentwood again, we won't bother looking for anywhere else, we'll definitely go back here.

“Lovely lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 May 2013

The people here are friendly and it tends to be very busy. It's typical cafe food really, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, soups and drinks, but a little step up.

It's always a nice experience.

“Used to be good”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 January 2013

Food was fairly good however this has changed and is sometimes over priced. Example, tried humous with sun blushed tomatoes and rocket and asked for an extra pitta bread. The extra pitta bread had nothing in it at all not even butter/marg and was charged a shocking £1 for the extra pitta (even £3.95) was disgusting for the base product with the total lack of humous which barely covered the bottom of the pitta which was filled with loads of rocket and a little sun blushed tomatoes. Needless to say I haven't been back for several months. To be clear I am a trained chef and went to catering college to become trained and I know a fair deal or not when I see one.

“Great lunches”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 28 September 2012

I often meet up with a girlfriend in this small cafe hidden in one of Brentwood's side streets. it is incredibly popular, so my best advice is to get there as early as possible to secure yourself a table. The food is always delicious, and covers all tastes- great sandwiches, baguettes, wraps and paninis, jacket potatoes, salads, or even an all day choice of breakfasts are on the extensive menu, as well as plenty of drinks to choose from. The staff are very friendly, and service is speedy. Price wise, it is very reasonable too-we usually spend no more than ten pounds for the two of us and have more than enough to eat. Highly recommended.

“Good for a fry up, cuppa and a chat”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 September 2012 via mobile

I often go in here for a fry up and to read the paper or chat with friends, very friendly place. Food is ok, I didn't like the sausages but on the whole it's good. A lot better then the other fry up cafe's on the highstreet.
