Brentwood seemed to be a convenient place to meet to collect grandchildren. Never been to Brentwood before, so looked online, and decided to meet at Cafe A'Moore. We picked it because we wanted somewhere relatively inexpensive and easy, and we try to support independant businesses if possible.
We met up and had brunch there, and I was really pleasantly surprised.
From the outside, it looks tiny. However, there are tables outside, and plenty of tables inside. The tables weren't overcrowded either, which was good. Inside, the cafe was really clean including the most important indicator - the toilets. The real rose in the vase was a nice touch.
The choice of food was surprising. As well as traditional breakfast items, there was a good range of sandwiches, paninis, ciabattas, and meals. Decent coffee, and wide range of child-friendly drinks available, not just fizzy stuff. Plenty of cooked breakfast options too.
The quality of the food was really good, and the price was very reasonable. The staff were really lovely; it was really busy at the time we went but they were all very cheerful and helpful.
If we meet up in Brentwood again, we won't bother looking for anywhere else, we'll definitely go back here.
