“Staff were great”

Good atmosphere here, we invested in a VIP table and it was definitely worth the money. The club itself is very small and if you don't have a booth there is no where to sit. There is an outside courtyard downstairs. The staff guarded our booth, drinks and belongings while we partied. club didn't pick up until about midnight. DJ rapidly improved then.

I took some friends who were over from Ireland to Sugar Hut for the bank holiday weekend as they were obsessed with 'experiencing TOWIE'. It's been a while since I've been and haven't been since the re-build.
Everyone had a good evening however it isn't all that it's made out to be, and disappoints to the glory of 'TOWIE'.
The queue to get in was a 45 minute wait, despite our friends having booked a table. The girls in our group were allowed in but the door staff told the boys to queue up!
The drinks are as expected, fairly overpriced, compared to other bars on the High Street.
The different rooms and varied music is good as everyone appreciates something different.

In all, we enjoyed our night out but there was nothing that made the experience stand out or special.
I guess it's one of those things you must do when visiting Brentwood these days though!

Where do I begin from waiting in a long que which felt as the long as the Great Wall of China to finally make it to a destination which really wasn't all that rudely greeted by a bouncer who just threw my friend deodorant away with no apologies for throwing away somebody's personal items, to then my ten pounds to get in which they only took cash for you would think they would be up to date considering how many travel to go here, to then finally get served and pay twenty pounds for two warm drinks with no straws or ice which I don't mind but when your paying those prices, they clearly don't mind charging a lot and taking advantage of the fact it's been on tv and all they care about is money money money and to say it was a carnival themed nights to see a few banners hung up outside, the only carnival thing about the place was the extravaganza of the toliets mess everywhere and a rude lollipop lady handing out toilet roll as theres no dryers to dry your hands then shouting at you to throw it in the bin before she's even handed it to, finally go to think you can dance it off and have a good night and there's not even enough room to dance girls pushing and shoving you and only a certain type of music genre for a so called village you would think there would be more we left because no matter how hard we tried a night back at our premier with a dominos actually sounds better and the customer service at dominos put sugarhut to shame sorry Mick but you need to put more care into your business towie won't be around forever to keep those costumers coming in .

Couldn't believe how awful the Sugar Hut was last night. Not all it is made out to be and we were completely disappointed especially travelling all the way from Cumbria to visit. The staff looked terrible, no effort made and so rude. My boyfriend ordered 2 G&Ts and the girl behind the bar then knocked 1 over on the bar. She then said he would have to buy another even though it was her fault. She was to busy on her phone behind the bar constantly. When we asked 1 member of staff where the toilets were he didn't know. The place needs a complete re vamp it was absolutely awful and I will not be returning and advising people not to waste there time!!!
