Barnards farm is a private residence with grounds that open to the public throughout the summer. Only open on Thursdays throughout June, July and August. Occasional Sundays.
The extensive grounds are scattered with modern sculptures mostly commissioned for the farm. It is a delight to come Across a sculpture in a woodland clearing! The owner collects vintage cars and there are usually a few on display. The past year has seen the addition of a miniature railway which is popular with families. The railway is being extended to cover the entire park.
There is food available in the lovely barn. Extra toilets were added recently.
Disabled and people that can't walk a lot can ask for a golf buggy tour, for a donation. The proceeds of entry go to a charity and the staff are volunteers.
A lovely way to spend a few hours.
