This is a lovely park and could easily spend a whole day here.there are some cons..but mostly pros.
1st con...you have to pay parking during the week, I remember when it was free!!
2nd con...the paddling pool, although very cheap, I also remember when it was free
3rd con. .and the worst!!...toilets!! Stink!! Poo on walls and floor, around toilet seat, the taps are loose, no mirrors, very unhygienic, very discusting! !
And last con..the amount of rubbish around the sensory garden!!
Besides from those 4 cons ...there is alot to do here, there is a big golf course (18 holes I believe) , crazy golf too, paddling pools and a big playground for the kids, flower/sensory gardens. A cafe area but you can also get some food by the paddling pools. Large areas to set up a picnic blanket.and relax for the day, skate park.plenty of area to walk around in or ride a bicycle (they even have a seperate lane on the path for this)

Had a wonderful day at King George's playing fields and crazy golf course, weather didn't put us off a bit! Kids loved it and got a great run around, would thoroughly recommend a visit.

Lovely place to go all year round, early morning and late evenings are best time.

Summer is ruined by families of toothless chav daytrippers bringing their cheap garden furniture, having barbeques and leaving litter.

The ice cream van belching out fumes by the playground all day shouldnt be allowed.

Deserves better maintainence and a decent park warden.
