The best menu, the best hosts, the best staff, we LOVE it. Deffo worth a visit folks! Wonderful! We have travelled all over Britain eating in Indian Restaurants and can truly say this is the best we have ever been to. Such a friendly atmosphere, wonderful service, and food that is 5 star! We have now retired locally and are so glad that The Blue Sari is our local venue but it would be worth travelling some distance to experience this restaurant. We have friends who come 100 miles just to come with us for a meal. When their favourite dessert was unavailable one visit, they were told to ring a few days before their next visit and they would guarantee the dessert would be there and sure enough, last Sunday they did just that! Hows that for service? Thankyou Russell and Sandy and all the staff. See you soon, Mr and Mrs Vindaloo!

A wonderful restaurant serving Asian food of the highest standard. The restaurant is beautifully furnished and reflects great credit on the married couple who own and manage it. The outside area is a blaze of colour in summer , but come for really different and exquisitely presented Bangladeshi food. The staff are very attentive and friendly whilst maintaining the highest of standards.

Another fantastic evening at the Blue Sari and I have even tried one of their recipes it was superb. Their Lamb is to die for no gristle, fat or anything it just melts in your mouth. The staff are really helpful and happy. The owner and his wife are there should you have anything to say be it good or bad they will listen We travel from Basildon just to have a special really well present meal and my family love it. You are not rushed to eat your food and given just enough time to digest each course.

We have visited the Blue Sari restaurant on several occasions, as a couple and with groups of friends. The surroundings are lovely, the grounds are beautifully kept with flower beds and baskets and we enjoy at every visit, good service and beautifully prepared food.

So, why the poor rating then?? We ourselves have never had cause to complain, however, we have witnessed on three separate occasions when other guests have felt the need to raise concerns and frankly, the way these have been dealt with is inappropriate and embarrassing to witness, which does have a knock on effect on other diners' experiences.

In a nutshell, we have witnessed the lady who owns the restaurant scorn and chastise people who dare to complain. She seems to take personal offence to any query or concern, becomes extremely defensive and rants at them that no one has ever complained before, that they win awards for best restaurant in the area and then accuses the customer of not knowing what they are talking about! On two occasions, we have heard her tell customers (and not discreetly) that if they don't like her restaurant, they can leave and not come back! Is this really the best way to deal with complaints?

Come on Blue Sari, you are letting yourselves down on this one aspect. We love your restaurant, your staff and most of all your food. There will always be complainers, some justified and some trying it on; most customers just want to be listened to and any concerns acknowledged with a smile.

Please don't be offended by our feedback, we feel this is something that needs to be addressed.
