Stayed for four nights week commencing Mon 28.7. Positives Good Gym cardio and weights reasonable well maintained equipment. Rooms clean and refreshed daily. Location. Front of house staff helpfully and pleasant. Quality of food good to very good breakfast and evening meal.
Negatives/Niggles.
Shower pressure low heads need replacing/cleaning.
Room ventilation due to heat having to open window onto rear carpark noise from early rises.
Biggest Gripe was the rear of house kitchen staff who repeatedly on all four mornings failed to produce a breakfast order correct for a four person order. This was not the fault of front of house as we repeated our different orders on each occasion. It appeared someone in the rear just decided what actually should look nice on a plate. It was a challenge and a laugh at times so hey ho. The size of the breakfast portions were somewhat lacking however by the end we tried the method of asking for specific size portions and this worked. The quality of the food was at least very good, the evening meals were also of good quality. Prices may be £1/£2 too much. However overall experience good to very good will return to this hotel again having stopped in nearby Hotels which realistic don't offer the full package this one does.

Booked last minute so we could meet friends in Bishops Stortford.

Hotel rooms are very clean and well presented with very comfortable bed!

We also booked in the restaurant for dinner with our friends and had an excellent meal, which was extremely well presented, tasty and impressive.

Would definitely recommend !

Well done.

First the positives. The staff at this hotel are really helpful. Next , the rest. The rooms are not that great, nor is the food. Do not visit on the last Friday of the month as it is party night and very noisy!

Recently myself and my partner stayed at the hotel and upon booking we were greeted by pleasant and helpful receptionist Olivia. Upon arrival we were greeted by another receptionist by the name of Deborah, she insisted on carrying our bags and nothing seemed to be too much for her. The room itself was plushly furnished and boasted a boutique standard, it was comfortable and remarkably clean, the value for money is amazing! we dined in the restaurant at 6 o'clock to be seated by well presented and formal staff, Linda our server was most polite! the Lamb was beautiful and the Chicken breast was moist and delicious! at around 8 o'clock the music started to kick in and it created an amazing atmosphere!!! Given the fact the hotel has an over 21's policy the atmosphere was relaxed and also enjoyable due to the absence of adolescents. My Partner and i then went into the terrace area to find a bar outside of which was manned by two very efficient members of staff, a young Australian woman and an equally young man. they worked efficiently together and were most friendly and polite, they even fetched my partner drinks from the inside bar as they didn't have any dry martini outside. wonderful. upon retiring to our room at around midnight there was an ambient murmur from outside where customers will still on the terraced area, this was not a problem for ourselves as we were in fact forewarned. i had a wonderful nights sleep in one of the biggest, most comfortable beds i have ever slept in! Breakfast was a relaxed setting with many choices both Continental and hot breakfast. over all this place is a 10 out of 10!! highly recommend!

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and I really love the accommodation. The rooms are always clean and well presented, try and get one of the rooms outdoors near the car park as they are lovely. I haven't eaten at the hotel but there's a lovely Indian and Chinese restaurant nearby. I would definitely stay here again, it's in a good location, and easy to find. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth the price!

Poorly managed on arrival of a large pre wedding evening party, Already with confusion over the rooms even though this had been clearly stated in an email. Then we find out its party night with extremely loud music till the early hours which was never mentioned before booking as we would never had booked if been told!!! They were unable to offer the bride to be a quieter room and tbh most are unbearably loud anyway. Obviously this is not on and the last thing needed before a brides big day. Clearly badly managed and money grabbing otherwise they would have notified us before booking. The rooms were ok, the food was nice but dont stay here without checking events and dont expect a good night sleep ( if any)

Stayed here whilst attending a wedding at Spains Park.
Very clean and tidy, with pleasant rooms. Our bathroom was a little tired, but spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was very good, with the fried breakfast served. My fried egg was overdone, but that is just me being picky.
Staff were very friendly, and nothing seemed too much trouble.
Parking was a little tight, but we all managed to squeeze in.
If you are attending an event nearby, or just staying in the area, I would recommend it :-)

Room Tip: All seem to be equally good!
