We have been twice for lunch. The first time the bread was stale. The second time the quiche was rock hard on the bottom and a little greasy in the filling. It always looks so appetising from outside and really rather quaint. I don't know if they genuinely bake their own goods everyday, I'd like to think they do. If they are still there in a year or so I would consider trying them again as it does seem to be the one kind of restaurant that Hornchurch is lacking - a nice independant tea/cake/sandwich/coffee shop.
