Although I enjoyed what I had, some of our party found the veggies so "al dente" that they were unable to eat them at all. Huge portions and well presented. Some folks around us had the specially large fish and chips and they really were very large. A busy day seemed to mange ok re staff and service.

Had a very good fish and chip lunch the service was good and my medium cod was perfect as was my partners skate. Nice view from the conservatory, tables and floor clean it was busy and I am not surprised. You could argue it isn't the cheapest fish and chips around but still well well worth it for the comfortable surroundings.

This place has a real buzz. It is worth visiting although the touristy shops go on and on. You must have the clam chowder. Absolutely beautiful at Boudin cafe!

Having visited in April 2013 and having had the best fish and chips ever (cod and skate), we were keen to come back again this year. Booked a table for 3pm on a Sunday, when we arrived it was fairly busy but tables were still available. We were sitting in the glass veranda which had heating above and so the temperature was just right for us. Waitress was polite and attentive. Ordered the mixed bread and oil/balsamic to start, then had the golden seafood platter. The calamari was soft and tasty, the cod was so fresh and juicy and was to die for and the chips were golden and crisp on the outside, fluffy inside. Only the scampi didnt quite live up to the mark, although it did look like wholetail, it was on the small side and slightly over cooked. Still blown away by the freshness and taste of the cod, just wish we lived closer.

A fish restaurant rather than just fish and chips (massive portions judging by next table). We had whole lemon sole and main course mussels. They were superb as usual. We visit a few times a year as great setting on sea front and excellent fish. Deserts good as well. Good service but go either at/by 4pm or you had better book as always busy which speaks for itself.
