Room was spacious and immaculate. Front desk could not have been more helpful. We asked for a sheet to use instead of the duvet at midnight on our stay and it arrived within 2 minutes. Cannot speak highly enough of the rooms.
Our stay was let down by the breakfast. To be fair to the Inn this was served in the adjacent Brewer's Fayre pub. Clearly, they were not adequately staffed to deal with the number of guests having breakfasts (hotel was completely full). There were problems replenishing beverages and parts of the buffet, only one toaster at the buffet created a long queue. The kitchen seemed to suffer likewise as food was overcooked (scrambled eggs leathery, hash browns overcooked) and the few waiting staff struggled to clear tables and serve.More
