Everything was up to the usual Premier Inn standard. Recently refurbished to a high standard. Shame about the lack of air conditioning - 26°C in the room - phew!
Also they had run out of mushrooms at breakfast.

This hotel was absolutely spot on, as usual for a Premier Inn.
Staff as usual were polite and efficient.
Parking space big enough for my 33 seater minicoach.
Taxi ti Chingford Train station cheap enough, £7-£8 then train straight to central London, with just one change, all included in a day travel card £9, including London Tube rides all day use.
Highly recommend this hotel.
Location was ideal as it was just around the corner from the Scout Camp where I dropped off the Rastrick Explorers.

Travelled from Australia to attend family get-together. Read many reviews before-hand on Tripadvisor. Found all staff to be very helpful indeed. No issues re: noise (we were in low-noise, family area - contradiction in terms?) Comfortable beds. Ironing board and iron available on request. Would certainly stay again. Hotel was very good value. Excellent breakfast (at Bakers Arms next door) incl. vegetarian options for cooked breakfast (extra 8.95 pounds per person as I recall but kids free)!

without a showdown of a doubt possibly the worst stay in a hotel we have ever had. Arrived 15 July room was already 25 degrees according to the in room temp gauge. No air conditioning, just a cheap and nasty fan. Went for an evening meal, service and waiting time totally unbelievable, over an hour for the most simplest of meals. Both my wife and I felt ill through the night, mainly due to heat, we stayed 4 more days, it didn't get any better, the day we left the room was up to 28 degree's. Had to spend most evenings outside in the car park, just to stay cool. Interestingly the manager appears to drive an extremely expensive Porsche, perhaps that's where the air conditioning money went. I would whole heartedly NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. Breakfast was a farce, always running out of food, coffee was nothing more than warm water. Not enough staff who worked hard and to the best of their ability under trying conditions. But not acceptable in todays climate. In total, a totally horrible stay. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL if you want a good night. I suspect Lenny Henry has never stayed here!!!!!!!!!!! And not eve cheap cost us over £ 300. I am sending a letter to the CEO for the arduous conditions we have just had to endure.

Room Tip: Rooms do not have air conditioning, be advised do not stay at the hotel. Think " Alex Guinness in Bridge over the river Kwai" the sweat box !!!!!!

Stayed here a few times and it's been recently refurbished to a nice standard, the only thing that let it down before was when on ground floor the ceiling squeaks when people above move about.

On the first floor it's great as you don't have this.

Walls are a bit thin as I could hear couple going at it for a very short time, poor girl lol

Overall great rooms, clean & tidy.

Stayed: June 2014
