“Great Nights Stay Prior to Southend Half Marathon”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

We had a lovely stay here last week as we were in the area for the Southend Half Marathon. We had a great welcome, the room was clean and comfy (I was worried the bed was too soft, but actually had a great night) and breakfast was lovely. Our hosts were really friendly and had we been around more, I think we would have enjoyed a nice chat. We would definitely return here, hopefully another time where we weren't rushing off and we could enjoy it more. We could combine it with a trip to Toulouse and maybe the walk to Leigh on Sea which we didn't have time for!
I would recommend here without hesitation, and I am fussy!

I went on a weekend trip to England and stayed one night in the Trinity Hotel with a friend. It was the nicest place of our whole trip. The couple who owns the place made us feel very welcome. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very clean. The breakfast is great too! I would certainly recommend this place.

Room Tip: We had a room on the frontside where you could see the sea.

We had a lovely stay at the Trinity Hotel in May 2014. We stayed with our 2 year old son who was made very welcome by Alan and Jill who are excellent hosts. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. Our room was lovely, as was the rest of the hotel. The beds were vey comfortable and we had great sleeps every night. We would definitely stay there again. And the breakfasts do live up to the excellent reviews!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 3 at the front which was lovely with a bay window and view of the sea.

My husband and I stayed at the Trinity Hotel last night as we were attending a birthday in Leigh-On-Sea. We received a warm welcome at The Trinity Hotel, chilled out and extremely friendly. The room was nice and an extremely comfy bed (Room 2). We went down for breakfast this morning and were told to choose what we wanted from the blackboard. There was a selection from a Full English Breakfast to Toasted Muffins. We had the Full English and it was amazing, tastiest bacon we had ever had. We were very lucky to have got a parking space right across the road as well. Amazing stay and can't wait to go back.

Room Tip: Room 2 was lovely.

I stayed at the Trinity last night with my two boys as we went to see Fiddler on the Roof at the Cliffs Pavilion (excellent!) which was a 3 minute walk away. Parking was fine as, thanks to other reviews on Trip Advisor, we knew that the chiropractor's appointments meant that people were coming and going so we drove around in a few circles until a place came available opposite the hotel.

Alan and Jill gave us a warm welcome, keys and the wi-fi password so all of us were happy! The room had sea "glimpse" which I could see this morning as I sat on the chaise longue in our room drinking my coffee. The room was pleasant. We were in room three at the front of the house, witha double, single and chaise longue and en-suite bathroom.

There are some lovely pictures dotted around the house and it all looks creative and welcoming.

It was all nicely furnished and spotlessly clean.

Breakfast was just lovely. As a busy mum I am always grateful if someone else makes me a meal but this was just lovely. The dining room was inviting and laid out beautifully with lovely crockery. We had cereal, fruit, yoghurts, a cooked breakfast and homemade muffins (which Jill gave us to take away as we were too full!) together with fresh juice and tea and coffee.

It was such a nice start to the day.

I would definitely stay here again and cannot recommend it, or Alan and Jill, highly enough.

I've used this hotel several times, solo and with my wife I used to live in the area but we now live in Swansea. Its in a good location for cliffs and Southend not far to walk to London road for buses.
the breakfast is very good and the overall experience is well worth it.Compared to other places this deserves a top rating, the only problem can be parking but not the fault of hotel it's just the location in the middle of town.
