“Big portions. Freshly cooked. Friendly staff”
Reviewed 7 January 2014

Visited the Rumbling Tum with family and were made to feel very welcome despite the staff being rushed off their feet. Most of us had the Full English which was cooked to perfection. And I'd recommend the sandwiches on thick crusty bread. Prices were reasonable too. Not surprised the place was packed on a rainy Tuesday morning!

“Lovely jubley”
Reviewed 7 September 2013 via mobile

I had a lovely bacon egg and cheese sandwich in some nice thick bread with a side of chips! Arrived fairly promptly and tasted realllly nice! I haven't been to too many cafés but would go back to this one! Reasonable value for money too. It opens at 6.30am in the morning which I find crazy early!

“The best café I have ever eaten in!”
Reviewed 6 August 2013

There are dozens of cafés in the area. Having tried them all over the years the Rumbling Tum is simply the best!
Great opening times (open at 06:00). Really friendly accommodating staff. Food is fantastic. Fresh and good quality ingredients. Amazing wholesome home cooked food at lunch times. Offers a good takeaway menu too!
I recommend this place and won't go anywhere else now. Keep up the good work!

“Superb food at very good prices”
Reviewed 11 July 2013

Have been to other cafes in Hamlet Court road, not a patch on the Rumbling tum. The breakfast choice is extensive and includes everything you can think of. (Recommend the bubble and squeak). Have had main courses and the homemade hamburgers are one of the best. The bread pudding is sweet and moist and often take some away. Staff are always friendly and helpful and it's obvious the chef knows what he's doing. Always come here when we are in the area.

“Just proper food cooked really well!”
Reviewed 24 June 2013

There is nothing better than a visit to Hamlet Court Road, early on a Saturday morning, to have a proper breakfast at the Rumbling Tum! Been a few times and never been disappointed! All food is freshly cooked to order and portion sizes are generous. Plenty of stuff on the menu too! Haven't tried a lunch time yet, but I am sure the choices will be equally as good. The coffee, which can sometimes be a bit hit and miss in a cafe, is excellent. Staff are always very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. A great way to set yourself up for the day!
