We went here on a saturday lunchtime. Good welcome, decent beer and a pub food menu. We chose a cheese and pickle baguette,& scampi and chips. Freshly made. Really nice chips (the single portion is quite large and could be shared). Lovely view of the river and we watched the river traffic, including some from the yacht club next door. The countryside surrounding the pub is stunning and it is in good walking(on the marked Severn Way) and cycling territory. The slightly untidy exterior and car park can be explained by the fact they were flooded from November to March this year. We'll be going back, especially as the landlady was so helpful when i enquired about vegetarian food, especially for sunday roasts(apparently they always have nut roast in stock).
