We only expected a bedroom & bath, but also got a kitchen and living room. What a wonderful surprise. It was nice to stretch out after walking the Cotswold Way. Joanna was wonderful. The breakfast is served in the main house and was super. Well worth a visit!

We were a party of 4 adults and child walking part of the Cotswold Way and this was a great place to stay and good value for all of us for one night. It was great to stay in such a charming self contained cottage complete with kitchen, living room, double and twin room each with their own bathroom. Joanna also put up an additional camper bed in one of the rooms for our 4 year old. Breakfast is served in the mainhouse and was delicious including free range eggs from the neighbours. The home made biscuits and cake on arrival were also delicious! Lovely linen and towels also appreciated

Little Smithy is a great place to stay as you wind down your hike on the Cotswolds Way. The B&B is located right on the trail, which is always a plus.

Joanna was a wonderful hostess as she greeted us with a warm welcome, conversation, tea and biscuits. Our room was located in the 2nd floor of the cottage, which we had to ourselves for the evening. The cottage featured a room upstairs and a sitting room downstairs that allowed us to stretch out and relax. All accommodations were clean and comfortable.

We highly recommend setting up your hike of the Cotswolds Way so that you stay at Little Smithy!

Lovely B&B. Joanna and Richard were excellent hosts. Very comfortable accommodation and Joanna's breakfasts were marvellous. Also thanks to Richard for suggesting we join The National Trust; we visited some outstanding properties during our travels around England.

We were so glad that in planning our 12 walking days on the Cotswold Way that Little Smithy was the only B & B where we spent two nights. Having a cottage to ourselves (two senior couples) gave us space to relax after our hikes, drink tea and have a before dinner drink.

We walked from Wotton Under Edge to Hawksbury where our hostess picked up up and drove us to Tormarton. The next day she delivered us to Hawksbury and we walked to Tormarton.

Joanna was friendly and made us feel at home. She delivered a tray with hot tea and wonderful coconut bars to our living room soon after we arrived. The cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. I would have preferred a shower as I had trouble getting out of the very narrow tub.

We stayed at the Little Smithy when walking the Cotswold Way. Highly recommended for walkers and others! This charming place, the image of a cottage in an English village, is situated only 200 yards from the pub, right in the heart of Tormarton. Excellent beds, breakfast and service. This was also the place where we had the most hearty and friendly welcome of all places where we stayed during our walking tour.
