We pre-booked the 3 course lunch menu prior to seeing the fabulous Warhorse show, the standard of the food was excellent and service very attentive too. The range of choices on the menu was very good, with 4 starters, 5 mains (a chicken, a lamb, a fish and 2 really interesting vegetarian options) and 3 desserts. The food was cooked perfectly, presented beautifully and the flavour combinations were outstanding. This included a starter of Smoked salmon, horseradish panna cotta, beetroot salad, caper berries and mains of Pan-fried chicken, boulangere potato, Summer cabbage, mushroom fricassée OR Lamb rump, herb sausage, black pudding, sweet potato cake, artichoke puree, garlic jus. We felt the quality of the food was much better than we had expected and offered superb value for money (£22 for 3 quality and delicious courses). If you want a Lowry pre-or post theatre meal we highly recommend the theatre's own restaurant over any of the other Salford Quay eateries!
