The apartment itself was excellent, very clean, had everything we had expected and was in a great location. Free wi-fi was a bonus and I have to say the place was value for money. The customer service was top notch too, even post trip, the team have been very helpful. We had not booked anything like this before and had not visited the area before - but thanks to the guys at Quay, we will be returning.

The apartments were very clean and the gentleman who showed me around was exceptionally helpful. I had driven for 5 hours to get there and I can say that the staff were very helpful in talking me in to location. The apartment itself had everything I needed -free WIFI, excellent balcony views and all the trimmings I needed such as wine glasses for my long needed wine and coffee in the morning.
Highly recommended although it was a fleeting one night stay and I will be going back!

Myself, girlfriend and couple of friends travelled down to Salford in the evening in order to stay over for one night and then head into ITV studios the following morning. Although on arrival we missed the apartments due to looking for "Quay apartments" a quick phone call resolved this issue immediately. On arrival a meet and greet was a pleasent surprise from a member of staff who then directed us through the car park into our designated parking space with a permit (Have to pay £12 for). The apartment itself was immaculate, incredibly spacious, fantastic all round views from both the balcony and from within the apartment. The next day we were out and about until approximately 5 o'clock however we were able to keep the car in the garage despite check out being at 11 a.m. When checking out both keys and fob must be left inside of the apartment which to me is not the safest way of checking out. Overall "Quay apartments" provided us with an excellent one night stay for a very reasonable price.

The apartments are hard to find, we were obviously looking for the quay apartments but they are named 'the millennium tower' so confusing! There's no reception! No one around to let you into the car park (which you have to pay an extra £12 for) you need to telephone the number that txt you and wait for somebody to let you in. When we arrived we were asked to leave our card details on paper for a deposit incase of damages etc! This made me feel very uneasy! The apartments was okay but you are not left with much. Two small towels, no hand towels, no tea towels. I would not recommend these apartments for a one night stay at all and if you are going for longer make sure you take towels etc as it is very basic. On leaving you have to pull out of the car park, park on the street and go all the way back to the apartment to leave your key. We made the very expensive mistake of forgetting to leave our parking sticker and had to drive all the way back to manchester or loose our £150 deposit! They wouldn't let us send it out in the post. For the price of the apartments I would say it's very expensive, save yourself the hassle and book into a 4/5* hotel for the same price....very disappointing

Thank you for your valuable feedback, it is always highly appreciated. It is deeply regrettable we were unable to meet your expectations.

I have personally investigated your stay with us. I would like to assure you and confirm that our normal procedure is to inform our guests at least 24 hours prior to arrival date via email with the exact address and what needs to be done at the time of arrival. Along with this Late Rooms, where you made the booking from give you the exact address along with the directions on how to find us.

I can confirm our reservation team tried to contact you one day prior to arrival (12-02-2014) but were unable to reach you and thus a left a message. Along with this our reservation team also emailed asking you to get in touch as your payment had declined for the room. An email was also sent from Late Rooms as well detailing that your payment had declined and to get in touch. However our reservations team did not hear from you until on the day of arrival while you were looking for our apartments.

Regarding completing our credit/debit card form as security deposit, you were advised over the phone at the time of check-in as you wanted to speak to someone from our reservation team and by our colleague who checked you in that your details are kept very secure and that we discard all details upon check-out and you were satisfied with this especially when we informed you we have been operating like this for about 4-5 years.

We always provide a minimum of 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels per every bathroom. I am sorry that you were only provided with 2 bath towels and I have personally spoken to the housekeeping manager as to why this has happened and it should not be repeated again.
Regarding the check-out process we are deeply sorry that the self-check-out was inconvenience for you and we will certainly look into this in how we can make this better for our guests. However majority of our guest prefer the self-check-out as it gives them the freedom to leave when they want and it is more efficient than the traditional check-out process.

Finally when you forgot to leave the car park permit behind I am sorry to say but you were clearly advised on check-in and also a text message was sent to you detailing you had to leave the car park permit otherwise there is minimum charge of £35. Having said we also contacted you on the day of check-out to inform you that you have taken the car park permit and were given the option to either post the permit and we will release the deposit once we have received it or if you wish you can come and drop it off. On this you were happy to bring the permit back but nowhere in the conversation would we have mentioned that you will lose the entire £150 deposit because that is not what we charge for missing car park permit.

To conclude it is always very disappointing to hear when guest are not happy with our service and I will like to personally apologise to you for your unfortunate experience with us and I hope by me giving a detailed reply to your review will indicate that we take negative feedback very seriously.

I have been working at Media city and needed accommodation for two weeks for myself and my son. Quay apartments sorted everything very well and the apartment was superb. It was clean, modern and well appointed. The view over the quays from the spacious balcony was great and some very pleasant evenings were spent dining 'al fresco' admiring the ? Manchester. PS. Make sure you dont mix up the millenium tower with the adjoining building, the millenium point as they have seperate entrances but a common car park !

Room Tip: Try and get one of the rooms higher up the tower to enjoy the great city skyline.
