This place was basic as you would expect from travelodge but it was clean, smell free (congrats! My first travelodge not to smell) convenient for tram stop to manchester centre or media city / Lowry. Staff were very friendly too. Comfortable, handy supermarket across the road. Great value for money, thanks.

The rooms were lovely. Clean & comfortable. I was disappointed with the car parking charges which I thought were expensive and took away my main reason for booking with Travelodge which was that they were cheaper than the competition. The breakfast was very nice with reasonable choice - however, the cafe looked a bit like a school canteen. I wouldn't have considered using it on the evening because of that.

We stayed here for two nights whilst visiting the Coronation Street Tour. It was a good value stay at approx £80 for three of us for the two nights. This Travelodge is in a very handy location, only five minutes(if that) from a tram stop into Central Manchester and not all that much further a walk to Salford Quays with its many restaurants, shops and the Lowry Centre, and Media City. There is very convenient parking in the Morrisons carpark next door, £6 for 24 hours when we visited so again, quite reasonable.

Check-in was efficient and Reception staff were always very friendly, chatty and helpful when we encountered them. The room itself was fine, clean and spacious enough for three, with a double bed and a sofa bed though not an awful lot of storage. We all slept well, were not disturbed by outside noise or other guests though we did hear another set of guests mentioning at the Reception about noise from other guests during the night. We were on the 5th floor, I think they were much lower, so perhaps the trick is to request a higher floor so as not to be disturbed.

All in all, a very good stay at this Travelodge and we would definitely use it again if visiting the area.

Room Tip: Higher floor rooms seem to be quieter with less chance of noise from younger revellers returning aft...

We visited this hotel before we flew out on our holidays. We used it as a base for our weekend. The location is good. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel which was handy. The only problem worth raising was there are no parking facilities there and you need to park in the nearby streets.

Great value-for-money place to stay. We only stayed one night, but the room was comfortable, clean and suitable for 2. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is a Morrisons next door which is not only convenient for any bits you forgot, but is also useful for parking and at £7 for an overnight stay it is affordable too. The hotel wasn't noisy like some in Manchester, but there was some noise from the main road. A short walk leads you to the 'Lowry' shopping centre, which also has a few restaurants and bars. We would stay here again.
