Ideally situated Premier Inn, lots of free parking, onsite pub/restaurant, food loverly if not a bit pricey.

Stayed over night on a small break with two children to Manchester, would definately stay again.

Never stayed in a Premier Inn before: this one was only to visit the theatre: location brilliant.
The surprise was the quality of the Inn and the friendliness of the staff. Amazingly the breakfast was superb, yet the total cost astonishingly low. An over the top review? No, just me being refreshingly impressed!

We spent two nights here on our first trip to the area, mainly to see Warhorse. It proved to be one of the better Premier Inns - the room was standard but a good size and very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The quality of service was the highlight - very friendly welcome and helpful throughout.
Certainly worth a visit - adjacent to all of the facilities at the Quays and just a tram ride away from the city centre.

We spent 4 nights as a family of 3. Staff at check in were great and even went to our allocated room to ensure the extra bed was prepared for our son. The room was very clean and prepared for 3 people (ie, a 3rd towel, mug). However on the last 2 days housekeeping no longer left us a 3rd towel. The hotel's location is great, just a short walk to the outlet mall, Imperial War Museum, Lowry Theatre, etc. Manchester City Centre only a short drive away. Free parking at the hotel, with an overflow car park so there was always space. However the gravel on this car park made it difficult to roll our suitcases. The hotel was quiet and very comfortable, with a great mattress and good quality bedding and pillows. Air conditioning was a plus! Also, this Premier Inn had a large screen TV mounted in the wall in front of the bed, rather than the usual minuscule one on the shelf. Good selection of channels. Unfortunately, one of the drawbacks was an unreliable Internet connection, which dropped off frequently and took some time to get back. We would have to think twice about staying here if we came back on business. Also, as we have a Premier Inn account, our invoices are emailed to us, which is very handy. However, there seemed to be a glitch in the system as I received 2 more emailed invoices on separate days, which indicated £0. We still had to check with reception to ensure all was OK with our charges. Staff were understanding and helpful in this regard. Overall, a great and comfortable stay.

This review has been rated as poor which is purely down to the Beefeater restaurant next door which is also part of the Whitbread group where breakfast is served.
The Premier Inn itself cannot be faulted and has improved since our visit last year with air conditioning and a new lift. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would recommend it. The location is ideal for visiting the area.
We regularly visit Premier Inn’s and take breakfast. This is without doubt the worst we have experienced. There was no coffee, no fruit, and long waits with one toaster. The meals which were ordered were the wrong ones and when the new ones finally arrived they were cold. The final insult was the food tasted awful particularly the sausages.
The staff did not appear to know what was going on bringing meals out from the kitchen and asking groups of tables what they had ordered as they did not know whom the food was for.

Well what can I say, this hotel is just spot on. Lovely location and easily accessible to the city centre as well as a lovely little shopping mall about a 5 minute walk away. The area was so clean and tidy and absolutely everyone we spoke to was so friendly and helpful. The staff were great and nothing was every too much trouble for them, from arranging taxis to giving you clear directions. The rooms were lovely and spacious and the bed was probably the comfiest bed I've ever slept in. Cannot fault this hotel at all...the ONLY small thing I'd say is we booked two rooms 4 months ahead and it would have been nice to have them closer together as we were a couple of floors apart, but that is only one minor thing.

Room Tip: Lovely view if you have a room overlooking the quays.
