Our Bi-annual Christmas Season Show Event - I like the Lowry Theatre the view of the stage from all seats is good. (Prices this year seem to going through the roof!) Leg room is the biggest problem and we're not tall people. At the price you pay you should get a comfortable seat. The show was excellent entertainment the mix of puppetry & actor worked very well. We stayed at the Premier Inn Salford Quays to make a Theatre Break – Ideally situated a short stroll down the quay with a nice pub restaurant adjacent. Great value for money.

The Quays theatre is fantastically intimate and you feel a real connection with the performer(s) on stage, who are tantalisingly close. There is a nice bar area outside and good stewarding to your seats. Would definitely chose to go here again as it was very comfortable, parking is easy and public transport is good. Have gone on their mailing list asa consequence!

I attended this event at the Lowry in Manchester. Whilst the actors were brilliant and the venue beautifully decorated it was too large. A lot of the action was centred in the middle of the room and being on the outer rim of tables we missed a lot of the action and detail of what was being said. What we did see was very funny but we felt very much on the periphery. The friend I went with had attended one before at a different venue which was much smaller and said it was much better as she felt more involved. I did enjoy the night but would only attend again if it was a smaller event.
