“Car Park Security”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

I just want to make people aware that overnight my car had one of its windows smashed. a member of staff said that it wasn't that unusual. Overall the staff were very helpful, calling the police etc, doing what they could to help me in this difficult situation. Perhaps they should upgrade their CCTV or have someone walking about on a periodic basis. I know its stated that you park at your own risk, but you really don't expect that to happen to you.

Rooms are spacious, I booked with only a couple of hours notice and was given a ground floor room which is very rare for a Prem Inn. Ordinarily female guests are always put onto the first floor. This caused a bit of hassle but was eventually resolved. There is no air con here so rooms can be warm, it's fine if you leave the windows open but then you either get the Tesco noise on one side or the road noise on the other. I have stayed here fairly regularly in the past and it's fine if you can close the window. Bed is comfy, quilt was nice, think it was new. Rooms always clean here and the cleaner is absolutely lovely, really friendly. Food is typical stuff next door but there is a new food complex within walking distance with a much better dinner offering, so head there for more choice. They have the older Prem furniture in this one, so the desk is a bit narrow for working on and it could do with more plug sockets but have at least now got flat screen TVs. Train station is a few miles away. As with all others you can get an iron and itoning board from reception and shower gel is provided in the bathroom.

We stayed here a couple of weekends ago, the room was large, clean and nicely decorated, wifi was available for 15 minutes a day I think or you could buy extra time which was vey reasonable. Next door you get could food at Willems Park, we had our dinner there and you could opt for a carvery or off the menu. We paid for breakfast which could be everything or continental, we chose the later and found plenty to eat . If you can book in advance you can get really good deals.

I've just got home after a night away visiting friends living in Aldershot. The Premier Inn was perfect. Accommodation booked on line, paperless billing as receipt sent by email. We arrived at 13:00 and the room wasn't ready, not a problem, we went next door to Brewers Fayre for a drink where there was free WiFi. The room was spotless, good size and had all that was required for an overnight stay. There is limited WiFi for 30 mins free, after that there is a charge, however this was enough to check emails etc before going out.
All the staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The local taxi was reasonably priced and arrived soon after being booked.
Anyone not wanting to pay the Premier price for breakfast could go next door to the large Tesco.
I will certainly go back here again if visiting Aldershot.

This was our third stay at a Premier Inn, I have to say for overnight accommodation they really are superb value for money. We had booked well in advance and managed for the first time to obtain their much advertised £29 rate. Arriving at Reception we were greeted by two cheerful gentlemen (one apparently under training) who made us most welcome and explained in full the systems and procedures regarding the hotel and restaurant. .
Our room we found to be spacious clean and comfortable with everything in working order, the only criticism I would make is the lack of a handrail or rails and a mat in the shower/bath.
The pub/restaurant was of the Brewers Fayre chain and we had both an evening meal and a breakfast, being joined by some members of our family for the evening meal. The menu was obviously of the usual 'pub grub' variety but that being said our order was efficiently taken and despite the somewhat busy time the meals were duly served within a reasonable period, all were of good quality and quantity and well presented.
Full marks to the lady working the bar, she appeared to be on her own (do they have to pay double time on a Sunday?) but despite being extremely busy dealt with everything efficiently and with good humour.
Breakfast was of the self-service buffet style, we were met on arrival by a cheerful and conversational chap who helpfully explained the intricacies (?) of serving yourself and where to find everything, where to sit etc. He really got our day off to a good start. As for the breakfast there was a good choice of cereals, fruits, Continental and the good old British, with various
personal preferences catered for if required.
All in all a very pleasant stay, even our departure was with cheerful best wishes from Reception.

Really clean room - which is not that common actually ! Great breakfast and service from lovely staff. Only let down was having to queue at the bar behind families with monumental food orders just to get a half of lager from the TWO staff manning the TWO tills.

I have never stayed in a Premier Inn before but our usual hotel had put the prices up yet again. I had booked a twin room on 6th April for a 3 night stay in August. However the room we were allocated (No 11) was to all intents and purpose a family room. Whilst it had a large comfy double bed the second sleeping arrangement was a made up couch as hard as rocks. Therefore one of us spent 3 uncomfortable nights. We did mention it but nothing was taken up and no offer made to help. The welcoming receptionist was not very welcoming but the lady who came on later in the day was an absolute joy but she still could not assist with the sleeping arrangement which was not her fault. However she provided us with a nice arm chair as the only seat was one hard back dining chair. Concerning the breakfast menu I would suggest anyone pop over to Tesco a stone's throw away as you will get all you require for a third of the price. Premier Inn's continental was limited to say the least and the self service premier breakfast was made to order and not selected as you wished!! Absolutely not worth the money and unfortunately we had paid upfront for the 3 days. The other thing was the noise but that was actually not the hotel's fault as it was a very busy main road alongside the hotel. I have read that on the other side there is a lot of noise from Tesco vehicles so it is a no brainer which ever room you get apparently. I would like to followup the Good Night Guarantee but there is no address or any contact details on what to do. If anyone out there has any ideas I would be very appreciative.
