Living locally, we have unfortunately never stayed overnight at the hotel, but we have eaten here several times, either in the main restaurant or bistro, and have always enjoyed an excellent meal and fantastic service. Children friendly hotel and free meals for under fives, with an excellent outdoor playground at the rear of the hotel, and lovely countryside walks around the hotel makes for a very enjoyable afternoon. Might treat the family to a short stay here soon so we can enjoy all the facilities.

This was our second trip to this particular Four Seasons. Great service, excellent rooms, fantastic grounds.

Had a very good time.

The kids room needs an upgrade and it would be nice to have more outside space at the pool, but all in all, this is a great countryside hotel.

Not sure where to begin as the whole experience was fantastic.

Our family of 5 including our 9 month old baby girl have just had a two night break here and from start to finish enjoyed every single moment - from arrival and the Valet Parking, Checking in, the rooms, the swimming pool and vitality pool, the spa treatments, breakfasts, dinners, Afternoon Tea and then a walk! To checking out and luggage and cars back to the entrance for departure!

The staff are unbelievably efficient, friendly and professional, which enhanced the stay enormously. The food is amazing and the rooms are beautiful. We had two next to each other, one was a Garden Room, which was a very good size and the other was a Four Seasons Executive Suite providing additional space and I can recommend either.

Can't praise this hotel enough and hopefully will have the opportunity to return.

Room Tip: Room 3108 (Garden Room) and Room 3110 (Executive Suite) next to each other if going as a family. If...

After a trip to a country opera last month with our grown up children they had a surprise for us and had booked an overnight stay at the Four Seasons to celebrate our 40th anniversary. The hotel knew of our celebration and we got an upgrade, champagne and a celebratory cake in the room. We had breakfast in the dining room and lunch in the Spa cafe. Both were excellent and the Spa magnificent. What we were most impressed with were the floral displays throughout the hotel. The staff were very efficient and friendly and we will certainly stay there again. Easily within reach of London and especially Heathrow.

Attended a two day conference staying overnight. The staff were always on hand but never unduly disturbed us. Facilities are great food wonderful and the location is easily reached yet seemingly away from any distraction.

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to reception or lounge/spa otherwise you may have quite a walk

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to write a review about your recent stay. Offering discrete Conference facilities, it's always encouraging to read that we appeal to the business traveller as much as our leisure guests.

We have gone to the Hampshire hotel for three visits, each bettering the next. It is always nice to see a hotel that is constantly improving. The four seasons group has never disappointed.
Food: the resteraunt is spacious and all the menus are fantastic!
Rooms: decent rooms that are well decorated, the rooms are slightly worn out though.
Activities: there is plenty of things to do at the hotel, you never get bored at the Hampshire!

Dear Guest,
Thank you for being so loyal to both the brand and our Hampshire property! You will be pleased to hear that we have more ambitious projects in the pipeline. Our 'High Wire Adventure' course is currently being constructed in our woodland and hopefully this will entice you back for a fourth stay!

We decided to split our recent trip between London proper and the countryside. The Four Seasons had been recommended to us and it did not disappoint.

For starters, the setting is tremendous. You feel like you are on Dowton Abbey visiting the country home of your rich friends. The service was superlative. All of the staff were very knowledgeable about what was going on in the surrounding area. The staff also took great care of our 9 year old daughter. All in all, a level of service equivalent to the best Four Seasons.

Now the best part is what you can do around there. We were a little worried that there would not be much to do. We were totally wrong. There are enough places to visit within about 45 minutes drive time (i.e. Windsor Castle, Stonehenge, Winchester, Jane Austen's House etc.) that you could easily fill up a full week visiting the sites.

We also worried about dining. We were also wrong on that. The hotel restaurants are superb (and we could have spent hours having drinks on the terrace off of the bar). And there are quite a few nearby places that you should try. Best of these was The Gamekeepers which was tremendous.

The activities at the hotel were among the best of any hotel. My daughter spent quite a bit of time at the riding academy riding the horses. This was top notch. A brand new facility with great horses. I also went skeet shooting on the hotel grounds (too much fun). And we used the hotels bikes to go riding around the countryside.

All in all a great experience. We would definitely go back again.
