Owner description: Hocombe Mead is an area of historic woodland and meadow, which is situated between Hocombe Road and Hitingbury Roads with main entrance and parking on Ashdown road. Parts of the woodland are over 400 years old, featuring on old maps as far back as 1588, when it was known as Eagle's Copse.

My house overlooks Hocombe Mead and I can get to it through the back garden meaning I come here a lot!! We come here about once a week and it feels like home!!

“Love this place!”

Have been here many times and we love it. When the sun is out its so beautiful! Cant beat a stroll through the reserve and there is loads to keep the children occupied.
