Description: The Blue Bell Inn Emsworth Public House offers a comfortable space in which to meet friends and socialise and is well stocked with a wide range of Real ales some of which are local, lagers, wines and spirits. The Blue Bell has developed a reputation for delivering fine food at reasonable prices under the watchful eye of owner Giles and head chef Steve. See what the fuss is about. Only yards from the harbour quay, this busy local is at the heart of the community, its the perfect spot for a drink or a bite to eat after a walk around the harbour. We pride ourself on the quality of the food at The Blue Bell, with it all being made in house, and using local suppliers were ever possible which helps support the local economy.

“A proper English pub at its best”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 July 2014 via mobile

I stayed in town on business and wandered down to the harbour, finding The Blue Bell adjacent. It's a proper pub offering a wire range of ales, lagers and fresh food. I enjoyed the pâté starter with ham, egg and chips to follow. Great simple food at good prices. I had to go back inside to ask for milk to go with my cup of tea, but I can forgive that!

“Absolutely spot on”

I agree with the consensus of reviews on T A this is an excellent hostelry. I noted a couple of earlier reviews that were less than complimentary I would respectfully suggest that they get a life. This is a great pub with a lovely menu and welcoming happy staff who enjoy their work. Bravo. This is what a seaside pub and restaurant is all about, character, flavour, history and personality
Long may places like this prosper
Well done
For me it was a great visit, ignore the negative miseraries who have nothing better to do than sprout ill informed rubbish
Excellent

“Great lunchtime meal”

Lovely food here!! Had the most scrumptious Scallops for a lunchtime snack. The staff are friendly and the service very quick. We'll return here for another meal any day.

“Fabulous lunch venue”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 14 June 2014

Popped in for lunch on a visit to Emsworth. Managed to get a table but suggest you book if you want to avoid disappointment. Excellent menu and terrific food. Glad I don't live in the area as I would find it hard to avoid becoming addicted. Will certainly return next time we are in the area.
