Ok so I am a Local and live round the corner but since Colin and Karen have taken over the Travellers Joy we have always been made to feel most welcome and that’s with Butler and Peggy my Newfoundland dogs.
The atmosphere is always welcoming and friendly with a good selection of real ales and good value well cooked food served all day.
The pub gets very busy and it is best to book a table for food but if you just turn up and are willing to wait a table will always be found for you.
In colder weather the pubs has wood burning stoves / open fires and is very cosy.
The pub has lots of good parking a very nice enclosed beer garden and it’s an ideal watering hole for walkers just across the road you can walk to the sea front and the coastal path 10 minutes away.
It is a very friendly well run country pub with lots of atmosphere and a warm welcome.
