Hadn't intended to stop for a cuppa but saw this tea room whilst walking down West Street and, having 30 minutes to spare, my daughter, my mum and I decided to go in. And what a treat!

Whilst we only had tea for two and a coffee for one, the service was excellent and the surroundings a delight. Lots of nick nacks and things to look at which were all spotless clean and sparkling.

We did take a (BIG) piece of yummy cake home for Grandad which he thoroughly enjoyed.

We will seek this tea room out again next time we are in Fareham.

Thoroughly recommend this Vintage Tea Room. Went for my second visit today. As before, staff were so friendly and helpful. We had a cheese toastie (around £3), shared a pot of tea (around £3 ish) and a huge slice of coconut cake (thoroughly recommend this divine creation and at around £2.40 a slice.....!). So cheap for such delicious food. Staff attitude is brilliant, always sunny smiles. Love the mismatch interior of pretty crockery and shabby chic furniture. Not a bad word to say about this place. Will be visiting again very soon. Thank you and keep it up!

Lovely tea, massive cakes and friendly service.

Very good value at £8 for pot of tea for two and two (massive) slices of homemade delicious cake.

They even gave us boxes to take the leftover cake home!

Loved this place. It was all lace table cloths and vintage china. A nice selection of food and we went for the high tea which was very good value and very filling! Good service and we will be back soon!

Have ben here many times when walking to Fareham shopping centre and have always experienced excellent service from the very friendly staff. Cannot fault the quality of the food or the drinks. Tea is served in bone china cups and seems to taste much better that way. The atmosphere is wonderful, an old fashioned1950's tea room with music of the time playing softly in the background. Definitely our favourite cafe in Fareham. On the down side it is very popular and sometimes crowded at lunchtimes and difficult to get a table..
