“Excellent overnight stay”
Reviewed 28 May 2013

Stayed overnight on our way to Portsmouth Ferry. Very clean and cared for rooms, with lovely fresh white llinen on beds and in bathroom. I believe this inn is fairly new., The staff, as at all of the Premiers i have stayed in, were extremely pleasant, and very helpful and informative to whatever you wanted. The eating house attached to this was not our ideal restaurant, but there was a pub 5-10 mins walk away, the Talisman, which was well worth the walk, and was very popular with the locals, which is always a good indication.

Lovely staff at a nice clean and friendly hotel. Bit pricey for a Premier Inn but we had a nice relaxed stay. We ate at TGI Fridays which was a fantastic experience and the staff were nice and friendly here as well

Had an overnight stay on way to Southampton for a cruise.
Newly modernised room very clean and well equiped, friendly receptionist who advised on local attractions and places to eat.
Used the Talisman Pub for an evening meal a 10 minute walk away as TGI fridays is not our cup of tea well worth a try and food good at the pub. Breakfat was OK but have had better in other Premier Inns.
Convenient comfortable hotel.

Room Tip: Upstairs is best to avoid "Elephants"

As a family of 2 adults and 2 children going to visit friends on the South Coast (near Portsmouth) this was a good choice. We had stayed in a Holiday Inn Express before in the same area and found the kids sofa bed most uncomfortable for them.

The Premier Inn had a guaranteed satisfaction or you money back policy so we chose this hotel. The hotel was easy to find, clean, rooms well decorated and with window that opened (unlike those stuffy air conditioned rooms where you can't open the windows). Staff very friendly and check-in a breeze. Breakfast taken in the TGI Friday restaurant adjacent the hotel which was good. Good selction of breakfast items and cooked breakfast not at all greasy. Only moan was it was staff by too few waiting staff and some foods were low in quantity.

More importantly the main bed was comfortable and bed linen very comfortable. Would liked to have had some complimentry bottled water in the rooms but wall mounted LCD TV, good shower and noise free night was most welcomed.

The £77 price tag + £16 breakfast for two adults and children eat free was also good value as it was buffet and eat/order what you liked.

Recommended.

The room, although standard PI layout had clearly been recently refitted with up to date storage a large wall mounted flat screen TV. The room was spotlessly clean, and the heating worked as it should, as did the shower. A nice touch in the refurbished bathrooms is the fitting of a curved shower curtain rail, taking the curtain away from you when drawn - don't you just hate it when they stick to you? Add in the fact that we paid just £25 having booked some time in advance and it adds up to a great stay.

Just spent one night at the Premier with my partner. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who checked us in quickly and gave us all the information we needed.
Went up to our room and found a clean, airy room. Tea/coffee facilities, fluffy towels, comfy pillows, no complaints at all, it was spotless with a large flatscreen tv.
Had a great nights sleep, very quiet and can adjust room temperature yourself so perfect
All in all, very pleasant stay and would recommend it to friends etc, staff were lovely
