Have stayed in a number of premier inns family rooms just lately. I believe this is a new Premier Inn, the room was well clean & tidy. All the furniture was very new. Yes as always we did get a good nights sleep. The young guy who checked us in late was very friendly and welcoming.
We arrived late and maybe it was me but missed the premier inn sign on the round about a couple of times.
Although we booked about 3 weeks in advance this was by far the most expensive premier inn we have stayed in, but it was not any better than others.
The continental breakfast in TGI Friday was very poor, small choice and stale croissants.

Our first night at this hotel was quite good, we decided to go to TGI Fridays for dinner and were not disappointed. However the room we stayed in wasn't ideal. You could hear every footstep, every door and every toilet flush from the floor above.

Breakfast was booked the next morning, there were four of us over two rooms. Premier Inn staff even took the name of the extra people but still managed to mess up when we paid for breakfast. They only ordered two (one from each room) meaning when we got to TGI's we were told rather rudely that we would have to fork out for another two. We declined and told them we wouldn't go to breakfast the following morning so that four had been paid for. The situation could have been handled with a lot better, and to be perfectly honest the 5 quid spend on stale bread for toast was not worth it.

Overall the staff were friendly but the room wasn't the quality I would expect. The past few premier inn's I've stayed at have let me down.

Stayed for two nights between Christmas & New Year, whilst visiting family. Large clean room, not claustrophobic at all and at a good price. As a long time Holiday Inn Express user, Premier Inn wins hands down on all fronts.

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and am impressed by the quality of the service and the excellent value for money if booking is made in advance. We took advice from others and did not book for breakfast in the neighbouring TGI Fridays but went instead to the nearby Whitely shopping centre for breakfast. There is a good choice of restaurants in this centre. However, I would suggest that people avoid Frankie and Benny's for breakfast unless you have a lot of time to spare. They were clearly understaffed and the service was exceedingly slow. Many people complained and several left while we were there.

If you pay full price this Premier Inn is expensive but to be fair its one of the best decorated with modern fixtures and nice big TVs. I've stayed here a few times in different rooms and a big problem is the heating is always poor. The small wall mounted fan heater always cuts out well before reaching a comfortable temperature and well before the max temperature on the wall mounted thermostat and you cant turn it up furrther. Even on a mild day its too cold. Also avoid rooms near reception as there's always a gaggle of noisy smokers until late evening.

Stayed here for Office Christmas evening meal rather than risk driving. Paid £47 for one night's B&B so good value for money. Close to M27 J9 but a taxi drive from Fareham - it's really in Park Gate or Titchfield. Check-in, room etc all fine. Decent shower in terms of hot water and good pressure on the ground floor. I had breakfast in TGIF's which is no cheaper if booked on-line. It is currently £8.25 for a premier breakfast which is buffet selection of cold items and cereals, plus fresh hot cooked items included. Good point is it is fresh cooked not left to stew in a heated hostess tray plus under 16's eat free - negatives are the very loud pop music (not good for a hangover) and naff coffee in vacuum jugs. You can have a continental for £5.25 or Grab and Go £2.95 (drink/croissant).

Room Tip: Two storey Hotel sandwiched between a housing estate and the A27 so perhaps quieter at rear (estate...

Stayed for a couple of nights over the weekend from Friday 22nd November 2013, as expected from a premier inn it was clean, quiet and comfortable as well as we'll placed for us near the required M27

Didn't take advantage of the attached TGI's due to previous reviews so cannot comment on that

Our room was to the usual Premier inn high standard and was plenty big enough for 2 adults and a 3 year old in a second bed.

Would of been a 5 star review if it wasn't for the fact that the breakfast offer isn't the best price especially if it's not going to be the best quality, but this isn't down to this Fareham hotel it's a premier Inn issue as a whole and really is a bit of Russian roulette as to which branded restaurant your choice of hotel is attached to.
