Dinner for 4 just before Christmas. The service was excellent; the food was great, both starters and main courses. In particular the fish of the day (shark steak) was beautifully cooked (it is easy to overcook) and the mediterranian vegetables delightful; the steak was cooked as ordered. The wines were very good and not overpriced. The atmosphere was nice with everybody entering into the spirit of Christmas but not being silly. The service was friendly and attentive but not overpowering, and we all left with a nice warm feeling.

A recent visit to Fareham found us in Antonios restaurant. Although it was busy the host made us most welcome. The staff were all friendly and made us feel at home. The special board was full of exciting fresh fish (rare to find these days) and we were very impressed with the price. We will be recommending this restaurant to everyone we know

A Wednesay evening in October found Antonio's half empty as was the atmosphere. A little Spanish music would go a long way. Starter of crab salad from the Specials Board arrived scattered on some lettuce and the taste was left in the kitchen. My partner's starter of Squid Rings was however top notch. My main of Mixed Grill arrived well cooked but a little inadequate for the price tag. My partner's starter size main could have fed a small family. All in all adequate for the money....... just

Although this restaurant looks nice and inviting, service is friendly, food is really really poor, stodgy and totally not what should be Spanish. We expected fresh and tasty and different, and were very disappointed. Fish was old - it was a Friday as well!!!! Tappas boring, should be exciting! Put more attention to your cuisine, you cannot survive next to the competition you have there in Fareham! So disappointed!

We were staying Fareham and looking for somewhere to eat. We looked at most places but attracted to Antonio's as he was outside having a coffee when we were looking around in the afternoon and was very friendly.

We hadn't booked but they quickly laid up a table for us. The atmosphere was really buzzing, the staff (including Antonio) were very friendly. The service was efficient but low-key. Very family-friendly.

Food very good - nicely prepared and served. Excellent coffee.
